I had some interesting experiences with rude people in Nice, but this wasn't one of them. The man who checked me in was so friendly. He upgraded me to my own room for free, which was awesome because I was in need of a few nights of peaceful sleep. The common area offered free drinks one of the evenings I...

Hostel was ok. Little disappointment with our room as the TV didn't work (not that this was a big issue but it is nice to have a bit of background noise while getting ready) and the lift was broken almost every day (not that I am lazy but after walking nearly 30 miles each day to come back to walking...

We arrived and we were greeted by a friendly staff member which is always nice. We hadn't booked a private room but we got upgraded, for no extra cost, to a room with an ensuite. The room was air conditioned and had a tv and a large window. Every time we walked past the reception there was always someone to...

Good location, great ambiance and even better staff. Especially the hospitality of the owner and little Abigail is outstanding. Makes you feel not only welcome but even sort of home. No matter how long you stay. I only stayed one night but already got that feeling. And rue d'Angleterre is such an animated and diverse street full of good Asian...

We arrived in Nice at 10:00 after a long and exhausting overnight train. Normally check in time is at 12:00 but the staff were nice enough to get a room ready for us by 10:30. And even though we only booked 2 beds in a mixed 6 bed room, they gave us a private room for the same price! To...

When we arrived, we had walked from the train station and were immediately pleased by the proximity. We had booked a mixed dorm, but they upgraded the two of us to a private room. The only catch was that it was on the 5th floor and the lift wasn't working. It was fixed the next day though. We were within...

Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, especially the Romanian guy. Very close to the train station. Has a terrace. Has a curfew, from 3 am. Champagne party. Room was nice. Wifi was good. Met some very nice people.

We booked 2 beds in a mixed dorm 6 weeks prior to arrival. Upon arrival we were told these beds were not available and that my girlfriend and I would have to stay in separate all-boys' dorms, resulting in my girlfriend feeling extremely uncomfortable in a room of 9 drunk and rowdy men. As compensation, as we arrived, the manager...

I stayed 5 nights during my trip in Nice. I have been many hostels in US before and definitely Europe has a better hostel culture. The room had a huge Windows and there was an air conditioner. My bed was good, the mattress was comfortable and the bunk bed was in a good condition. The bathroom was ok. My only...

I stayed here in the middle of July and had a great visit. The hostel is located very conveniently near to the station. Although it does feel like it's in a little bit of a shady spot, but i never felt unsafe. The hostel is actually very charming. It's basic but really great to meet new people as there are...
