What an experience we had in this hostel! My friend and I booked three nights and we were given a 4 bed room with a private (AND beautiful shower and sink). The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable if you like a bed a little on the harder side but not rock hard at all. The man...

i found the staff (a super nice, young man and his wife) to be very friendly and helpful which is what saved "hotel" pastoral from getting a "terrible". also, location was pretty good as well- very close to the train and shopping, just a 10-20 min walk to the beach. yes, a little seedy though. calling this place a "hotel"...

The location of this hostel is fabulous, the staff are lovely, but the rooms are aged and a bit dusty and the bathrooms are awkwardly set up. It's nice enough for the price, but not completely comfortable.

Our double bedroom had hair in the sheets, on the floor and pillows. There were worms crawling out of the tile on our bathroom floor and we had no hot water in the shower or the sink. They were able to fix the pipes and get it on the next day though. The room was extremely loud from people who...

I thought this place was really good value for the money we payed. It was decently clean, although the shower wasn't exaclty sparkling. There was a mini fridge in the room, and the rooms were generally well maintained. The staff was simply excellent and had some awesome recommendations! It was secure as every area of the hostel required a key,...

Very welcoming hostel. The staff did more than they should to help me out( as I don't speak a word of French). Friendly atmosphere and very safe. The rooftop terrace is great for having a few beers and meeting new people. Even a laundry(€4). If I ever come back to Nice I will be staying here. Thanks again for your...

This hostel is very close to the train station! It's about a ten minute walk to the beach but it's just off the main road. There is wifi but sometimes it didn't work an there are two laptops you can borrow from reception which is good but you can only have them an hour at a time! Beds were ok,...

My friend and me wanted to catch the Grand Prix in Monaco. We stayed at Hostel Pastoral, yes it's a Hostel and not a Hotel. It's a family run hostel managed by Frederic and his wife. They were really friendly and Frederic also gave us tips on catching the best view of the race the next day. The first impression...

I have stayed in many hostels previously but I must say that Hotel Pastoral impresses me much. Firstly, it is less than a 5 minutes walk away from the train station. Most of the hostel staff speak decent english so I didn't much to use my broken French to communicate with them. The wifi was good, and the most impressive...

If you are looking for the 2* hotel, you probably make a bad choice. However, the hostel's facilities are more or less OK. I was staying there 9 nights in the 3 bed dorm room. The bath facility inside the room was awful, but functioning. It was summer time, so, the noisy nights is a usual thing there. I guess...
