Le Royal is the place to stay if you're in Nice. Ask for the renovated rooms (sea facing) and your stay will be absolutely memorable. The service is great and the staff is english speaking and extremely friendly. We had a sea facing room. It is centrally located and within less than 200 metres are casino's, restaurants, bars, bistro's, laundromats...

I booked this hotel via Vacancesbleues.com and did half board . Buffet French breakfast ( ie nothing hot except coffee and tea . Set 4 course dinner , but if you didn't like something you were always given an alternative , with no hassle at all . I speak fluent French which helps as the waiters' English is limited ,...

Even if the splendour has faded, we had a lovely stay at Le Royal. We chose a sea view room, and it was just great, sitting there in front of the big window after all the walking, listening to the sounds of the city and looking at the beautiful sea. The staff was friendly, even if our french was poor....

The hotel is close to the sea on the famous beach road of Nice, Promenade des Anglais. The rooms have old furnitures and no godd facilities. You listen everything around from the other rooms. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very poor. Very close to the hotel are many places to have cheap and good breakfast.

We choosed this hotel because of its location and it was definetely the right decision. The beach is right there, at night we sat in front of the open window and had a wonderful view on the see, early in the morning it is even better. The room was quite big, but very simple, nothing interesting inside, it's just a...

The Positive: -The Hotel is in the best location. Everything in Nice that you want to do is a very short walk away, and being right on the Promenade des Anglais makes it even better. Our view from our room was facing away from the hotel, but you don't go to a place like Nice to hang out in the...

this hotel has an amazing location right on the beachfront and the best rates of any hotel with that location. It's a really tired hotel and would be just gorgeous if it was done up. Our room was a triple - the 3rd bed was an extra rollaway bed which did the job although it was a bit on the...

I had booked two sea-view rooms for my parents and I and were put next to each other on the first floor. Although sea-view, we felt we were right on top of the road and missing out on the view a bit. I enquired at reception as to whether there were any rooms on a higher floor and were immediately...
