We stayed at the campsite having booked with them directly in their prestige (top) accommodation, Taos. As many other reviews have stated, the location is fantastic and the pool is big and very clean.

Having stayed in Taos accommodation in many other campsites across France,i we found the quality of the accommodation and amenities provided very poor. Four small drinking classes, limited cutlery and the smallest kitchen bin you had ever seen!

We had to also pay a further €70 to hire a electric BBQ (charcoal is banned due to forest fires), this came with no legs so you had to sit on the floor to use it. These BBQ's sell on Amazon for €45, with legs included!

They also said wifi was included and then presented me with a card that allowed one device on at a time!! Not great for a family of four!!
As a side note if you are going - Windows 10 comes with a wireless hotspot as standard, so register your laptop and then repeat the signal so you can get all your devices online!! 😉

In summary, good location but you get the feeling they know it and are taking advantage a little!!

Excellent Campsite. Superb Olympic sized swimming pool with a great deep end. There are 2 slides, the photos don't do them justice, they are very good fun. The walk down to the beach is longer than you would like especially in the heat. You can drive nearly the whole way down and park at the roundabout beside the beach but parking is gone before 10am. However there are loads of better beaches only 5 mins drive away with lots of parking. Pamplone beach is superb, don't miss it, well worth the 14min drive. We went with Eurocamp, mobiles are all updated, it's hit or miss as to where you are located, it's a big site and the top of the site is a bit of a hike up the hill, so a hot walk up from the pool but the views more than make up for it, it's like looking out over the hills in Tuscany, simply stunning. Great fun scuba diving nearby from age 14 upwards. Only ate in the restaurant once, no complaints, but we were happy using the BBQ or going to Port Grimaud which looks like a mini Venic, to the lovely restaurants. Our only disappointment was that each day they had a teenage kids club advertised in the late afternoon but each day they said they didn't have the staff numbers to host it. We went in June so understand it was early in the season, but it shouldn't be advertised if not available. Otherwise, totally recommend this campsite.

The site is clean and very well organised, the facilities that we stayed in which were site owned were excellent. My only reservation is that the pool area is no longer big enough for the number of people who are able to stay on site and therefore sun lounges are in short supply. This is not helped by guests “reserving“ sun lounges with towels while they are off to do other things. We were there at the end of August and into September, and all entertainment and takeaway food options ended at the end of August. This is not unusual in the south of France, but it is disappointing. We have stayed at this site many times and always enjoy our holidays.

We visited this Camping twice: April and may. Its main benefit for this season is that pools are heated. Our daughters enjoyed pools a lot.
We like the camping wagons. We cooked all we wanted. There is everything you need. It walking distance to port Grimaud, which is lovely.
If you come before check in, they will allow you to go to the pool.

We have just returned from our second holiday to this park. Good to see some of the accommodation has been upgrade and the pool has had a mini makeover. One nag was the steps going up to some of the sun beds caused splinters in all our feet, we had to buy tweezers from the shop and keep them on us while at the pool. Doesn’t help that no flip flops round the pool (hygiene reason and I get that). The entertainment is ok and my children enjoyed it. Our accommodation was situation quite out the way and although was lovely and quit parking the car was an issue. The park is situated in a good area to walk to port grimaud and the local beach. Would come back again despite the little nags.

We stayed here with Eurocamp. Accommodation was modern and clean with a large deck and a BBQ. Pool was massive and clean with very deep end ideal for driving and two slides which were great fun. Tip to get through the barriers at night is switch off headlights.

We visited Le Domaine des Naides with my husband and baby. We enjoyed it very much. Place is clean, everybody very nice. It is calm and perfect to relax. Both Swimming Pools are great. Restaurant serves very good food at attractive price. Big plus for small supermarket close to the camping. We love this place and we will come back there for sure .

Let us begin with the good news; the location, the mobile-homes are all very nice and clean, even the blankets provided are of good quality, we have seen it different at many places. But unfortunately this is all the good stuff.

They offer WIFI access all over the campsite; IF it is working it is slow an unreliable, even though they have a good coverage all over the campsite it seems they have trouble with offering this service to many clients, the issue seems to be technical. Not to mention it is way overprised for the not working service (EUR 25,00 per 7 days!)

We had poweroutages for over a day, the only thing the technical engineer did was pushing the button to reset the connection, and we had power again for 30 minutes, unfortunately this did take over a day to get resolved. We are up to now not even sure if this gets resolved and await a black-out even when writing this.

Even if the above are not important to you, which i understand, we also found the restaurant and snackbar to deliver poor quality and very unfriendly service, we opt to eat outside at restaurants at the harbour of St.Tropez which where both cheaper and offering better quality as the restaurant for a better price.

What we value in a place like this is the atmosphere which seems to be completely missing at as well the reception as the restaurant and the camping shop.

So if you just want a place to crash for your holidays, near to St. Tropez and the beaches of St. Maxim or St.Aygulf (Frejus) you have a quality location. But to not expect a friendly service with a smile as we did not see 1 employee smile (which would make a HUGE difference already).

If you do care about being treated as a client which is spending his or hers had earned money Domaine des Naiades might not be the spot to be.

We travel to France a lot as our relatives are French and also visit campsites a lot thought we knew what to expect when we booked this holiday.

After struggling to find the campsite (there is one small sign on the roundabout when heading from Ste Maxime) we arrived at 7.02 pm.

The instructions provided by Canvas holidays stated that their reception was open and they would book us in. We met the rep at the entrance to the campsite (this is NOT an open air hotel by any measure) an he told us to go to the campsites reception and he would meet us there.

When we arrived there we discovered that it shut at 7pm. The campsite staff were inside and just waived us away. Eventually someone came up to us and demanded that we give them our passports. We refused (by law you have to carry ID at all times in France). They said that we would get them back in the morning. However we argued that we wanted to leave the site to get some food. They said that if we did not hand them over they would not let us on the site and would have to come back in the morning. Why they could not have either photocopied them or gone the extra mile and booked us in I do not know. Seeing as we had a young child with us we had no option but to hand our passports in and risk not getting stopped by the police.

The static caravan was small but clean. The caravans were packed in and only a few metres from our neighbours and there was not grassed area around the pitch for our daughter to play. We also discovered that we did have a big ant problem that we discovered the following morning.

We went to get our passports and check in and there was a lady next to us complaining about people loitering around the site. We also noticed this in the following day, plus our pitch was seperated from a track by a 4ft high chain link fence - very insecure. One night we had people 'hanging around' on the track by the campsite which worried my wife a lot. The huge traveller site 5 minutes down the road was a concern too.

We were also woken at seven one morning by a digger and bloke with a chainsaw widening the track - nice !

We then headed out to explore the site and surrounding area. The brochures say that the site is close to the beach. They fail to mention that there is the main road between Ste Maxime and St Tropez in between the site and the beach. This is a horrendous road, very busy and we saw several accidents a day on it. The only way to cross the road is to walk through a storm drain. This and the 20 minute hike with a three year old meant we drove to the beach every day.

The pool was nice, but there was a big sign at the entrance stating that the use of sun tan lotion was worrying. We ignored it as we did not fancy skin cancer. The pool did have a lifeguard who sat in a hut at one end of the pool. The only time he went on patrol was to look at the swim-aerobics teacher at the other end of the pool or to have a cigarette.

The rubbish area was permanently full to overflowing and close to the children's play area which was a big concern especially how children play hide and seek !

We tried to spend the minimum amount of time on the site and spend the minimum amount of money there due to the attitude of the staff. We don't like putting money in the pockets of people who give us dreadful service.

The holiday was that bad that we even contemplated booking into a budget hotel.

I would not recommend this site - it is no way an outdoor hotel, just a very standard caravan site run by people with no soft skill's

Hi Families, this is the place for hols,a big site, lots of families from France,Holland,Scotland Ireland, and England giving you a big choice of differant cultures to mix with. This is an education for Children, use it well. The local area a shopping complex 10 minutes drive. A 10 minute walk will bring you to a ferry across the med to st tropez. What an excellant market, check out the cafes by the Market, great coffee and cakes. But make sure you check the days when its on. The same market or part of it comes to Port Grimuade. While I have said Port Grimuade check it out for the church the coffee bars and the some great resturants in the area. Not only this see the rich in St Tropez have a look at some of them boats in the bay you may even see one from hollywood .A few minutes drive from the site is the best beach I have ever spent a day on a private bar, rest beds and beach area. And for the money the best cook on the beach. Very safe and relaxing I will be back. The train from Port Grimuade, you must travel morning so that you get the best of the town in the mountain great Lunch venue, have a slow drive home by train wow smell the vine, see the sights and watch the laughter on the faces of the children enjoy the stay and looking forward to the time back on the site which must rank as one of the best in France
Bon Voyage see you in France, Tours Manager.

i dont have a a copy of the map however we were in the new wooden chalets by euro camp, the permier ones. it was a 15 minute walk to the swimming pool. Some days we actually brought our car down to to the reception area as it was quite a treck. Campsite is great though, Grimaud was lovely but again quite a walk.
