I have, firstly, to apologise to Charlotte and the team for the lateness of my review. I meant to write this on my return but other things got in the way and it slipped my mind. Now, thanks to coronavirus, I have all the time in the world!
From the very moment my wife and I arrived at Auberge de Tourrettes, Charlotte made us feel like old friends and totally relaxed and at home. She took us out onto the balcony/restaurant area overlooking the garden and pool with a glass of wine prior to checking out our room. There was a band playing and a number of other guests and day visitors in the garden, the atmosphere was truly wonderful. Not to mention the views were outstanding. The perfect start to our stay.
We were there for the week and had hired a car to tour the area (There's parking at the side/rear of the property). Our room was at the front of the hotel facing the road but there was never an issue with noise and we still had a great view from the second window on the side of the room. The room was perfect, comfortable and spacious in typically french style with lovely shutters on the windows.
We had breakfast a number of mornings on the balcony which consisted of freshly cut baguette/bread, cheese, meats, scrambled eggs, croissants, fruit salad of figs, peach, banana etc and of course coffee, all made fresh with table service.
Charlotte was always available for advice about places to visit and always with a smile on her face. Most days, after travelling out for the day, we'd arrive back in the mid afternoon and make the most of the sunbeds and pool for the remainder of the day, usually with a lovely glass or two of wine, normally the one Charlotte recommended! The sunbeds are luxurious and the pool and views divine. The pool was a little cold but fine once you pluck up the courage to take the plunge.
Evening were spent mostly in one of the local restaurants or in the hotels restaurant but always started with drink in front of the hotel where there's a small seating area. Generally, early evening, you'll find Charlotte sitting here having her own glass of wine and chatting to guests or locals.
This hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring the South of France. Sitting in a wonderful village of it's own but within easy reach of the coast and numerous other places of interest. It's a complete treasure and it was an absolute joy to have stayed there. My wife and I will definitely return one day, we would recommend it to everyone.
Thank you Charlotte and Team for a wonderful stay.

Possibly the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in.

The grounds, room and views are spectacular but it’s the service you get that stands out just as much as the view.

We arrived after a 5 hour drive and the owner immediately invited us for a welcome drink - glass of wine. She also made a reservation for us at a local restaurant. So helpful and super friendly. It’s service that some 5* hotels fail with these days.

We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we could have stayed longer. Great place in a great location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at peaceful Auberge de Tourrettes, after the bustle of nearby Nice. Jasper was welcoming, kind and helpful. There is free off-street parking and a nice pool. Some of the rooms have lovely valley views, as does the excellent restaurant on the terrace, where breakfast is also served. We took a great day trip to Gourdon, up a scenic winding road. The reward is a charming village with panoramic views.

Stayed here for a wedding and what a perfect place. Right from arrival, we realised this was special. Even though they were busy preparing for the wedding they could not have been more welcoming. The view down the valley is stunning. The terraces and balconies are quite lovely. Great food and drink. Very comfortable rooms. The team running this auberge are second to none. Having spent a lifetime in the hospitality industry it was so nice to be looked after by people who really get it. Yet you are very much treated as a guest in their own home. Really nice. Would come again in a flash.

We had a fantastic stay in Auberge de Tourette on our yoga/painting retreat. Everything was great: the staff, the rooms, the food and the small beautiful details everywhere in the hotel. We had great yogasessions on the wooden deck by the pool and it was very comfortable to paint aquarelles in the garden. The small village was welcoming with a lot of inspiring motifs and beautiful views for painting. The last week in May was warm and sunny and we could stay outside all the time. We have found a paradise and we will for sure come again next spring.

Charlotte and her team are perfection itself - as is this beautiful hotel, the rooms, the views, the stunning balconies to some rooms, the gardens and the pool.
It would be near impossible to recommend this hotel any better.
It is also exceptionally good value for somewhere so lovely. We will certainly be returning.

We had a lovely dinner on the outside terrace. It was a really warm night, and the sun went down behind us. The food and service were excellent. We returned for drinks in the garden the next week.

The staff are just so lovely. The drinks are top, and the situation is perfect.

We came in sunday evening rather early, left our hometown in the morning for a week at the Côte d’Azur. So this was the first dish: the chef is Danish and thankfully the waitress was in french. Ordered a dorade and an entrecote. Happily surprised I tell you! The fish was extra fresh like brought in that very morning! The entrecote is always a little fat, this is to make it tastier and it worked realy well!
Thanks for a great meal!
Almost forgot: you have to see the view ftom your table.....ur never gonna leave!

Friendly staff but food not very special-especially the dessert which was exorbitant for a very underripe, hard and tasteless peach with a small spoon of (good) ice-cream!
Maybe it was just Sunday and evening and the chef's evening off...

I found this by chance while searching the web. It is a hidden gem. It doesn´t look anything special from the outside but it is wonderful inside right in the middle of the village. It is an auberge/inn but with class. It is ownded and runned by Danish people and when you know that you can see the Danish design. It look French but it is done with perfection. The pool is small but marvelous, nice comfortable pool furniture and with a stunning view. The rooms are nice but very simple, nothing extra which is relaxing. A deposit box would be nice to add to the rooms.

I had dinner in the restaurant and it was very tasty as well as the breakfast. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful.

Make sure to make reservation well in advace cause it is going to book up quickly.
