This visit was for five nights and came at the end of a three week trip around Italy. It was great to finish here and we just knew that it would be as relaxing as ever. A lovely new outside terrace area has enhanced what was a great eating experience anyway and this year was no different, if anything the... More

Hotel to arrive at after a very long, hot day of cycling! Excellent reception with cold beers and our luggage safe in our rooms. Dinner was included and service was great with a good selection of local wines! Excellent swimming area.

I stayed here w a friend for 2 nights. The place is very well kept, the grounds are very pretty. The pool area was lovely and relaxing. Our room was spacious and cozy. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed our breakfast in the dining area each morning. The hotel is in a good location and a few mins... More

Well. you can here. The dining room, no, not the dining room, the garden, is where you can dine outside - among the roses, bamboo, Menerbe stone and water. A glass and stoned walled garden, defies you not to relax, and don't worry about the sun, there are plenty of tables in the shade is the dining room of this... More

The room & bathroom was decent, with a small patio. There is a nice pool as well. We arrived in the late afternoon & were brisquely taken to our room (no proper check in, no ID asked), not a proper welcome. The safe in the room did not work & the patio door was a puzzle to lock back. As... More

If you want a modern hotel, stay AWAY! If you enjoy a quaint "old-world" feel, then you'll love this place (a modern bonus though: our room had an air conditioner!). The hotel staff are friendly and professional, our room was comfortable with a walk-out to a garden and the pool area, and the restaurant is an experience all its own.

Nice pool, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast probably one of the best we had. We didn't eat at the restaurant as we were only there for 1 night but food looked exceptional & it was very busy. Rooms are clean, spacious & we even had our own mini garden perfect for some peace & quiet.

I have dreamed for years of vacationing in Provence and this past year spent most of the year exploring, studying, checking reviews in the Internet and making formal plans. In coming to Gordes for the past 5 days as part of a Discover France (separate review) bicycle trip through Provence, we made arrangements to stay at this Auberge. We were... More

We stopped at this restaurant for a surprisingly tasty and enjoyable lunch in the quiet shaded courtyard. Our local guide introduced us to the owner and he helped us chose the starters and the main courses. The fish and the lamb were particularly superb. It was an excellent dining experience. We met the chef after lunch and he took his... More

A wonderful place nearby Gordes managed by a true Professional who offers high quality dishes at a reasonable price in a modern & typical design. I had a business dinner with 2 doctors who were positively impressed by the quality and originality of the food. The owner is a sharp but kind person who knows how to welcome new customers.... More
