Not what we were expecting but turned out to be lovely. The location is right near the old port once you get passed all the graffiti and the industrial look of Marseille you can really have a good time. Though the owner does not speak much English he was so nice and nothing was to much trouble. (He did our...

The hotel was easy to find, and has this authentic mediterranean decor, which I love. The rooms were not too big, but it was no big problem since we only spent most of our time in the city. The staff is very friendly, though they don't speak good english, there were no problems understanding each other (we were hungarians and...

Should not be offered as a 4 star B&B. Very hard to find with GPS. Would not feel comfortable walking area at night. Entrance door is so small is hard to even find it. Once in, you find a very narrow, spiral stair that takes you to a bedroom with uncomfortable, squeaky beds and tiny bathroom. Maybe for backpackers such...

Although situated in a seedy neighbourhood it is only 100 metres from the Notre Dame du Monte station which is only two stops from the St Charles terminus. The room has been decorated in a quaint French Provencale Decor and there is a lovely outdoor space with a small pool and hot spa. The manager has no English but does...

The location is good for the old port, cafes, restaurants, shopping and other central areas, however first appearances are very off putting because it seems to be in a rough area, especially walking to it from the train station. However once inside the town house it is ok, decorated in the style of a Provence farm house! Shower room was...

I had looked at pictures online and it looks great. Whem GPS took us to the location, we did not find it because it was just a door in a scary neighborhood. After driving around for an hour, we tried again, and finally find it and arrived around 11 pm. Parking is in a parking garage not too far from...

We visited Marseille for a short trip and didn't regret our staying at that lovely hotel!Very beautiful french country style environment and nice home made breakfast. The area is a bit dodgy but as far as I saw this is generally the case in the city of Marseille, in terms of location I would recommend because it is relatively close...

This is a lovely place to stay in a location that allows easy access to the Vieux-Port. It is in a trendy area, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We found the members of staff very friendly and helpful- on our last day we were able to leave our bags in reception after we had checked out. We had a great...
