We stayed for one night only (wished we could have stayed longer) in this lovely hotel. We booked a family room which was spacious and had 2 rooms divided by a sliding door (perfect for a family of 4). The hotel is in an ideal location - only minutes to the old town, lake or train station. We had an amazing time!

We needed a hotel in SAnnecy for 1 night for a break on our dash from Provence to London. Iniytially we booked a hotel in the heart of the old town but having read more reviews realised that was likely yo be noisy and some distanmce from car parking. The Allabroges was a great compromise, parking on site and only a few minutes walk through the old town to the lake. Our Classis room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast which we grabbed before setting off again early the next morning was good sand the staff were helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. Excellent!

This is one of the most friendliest hotels we’ve stayed in. Everything has been thought through perfectly. The rooms are very comfortable with good duvets and pillows. The breakfast had a good choice of food with boiled eggs and toast as required. The very efficient lady working in the breakfast room was most welcoming every morning with a beaming smile. The coffee and tea freely available afternoons and evenings with little treats was a welcome sight after a days sightseeing. The only slight quibble I have was that room 104 at the top of the first landing suffered with a some noise from the reception area during the late evening and through the night. However I would certainly recommend this hotel also for its location to the town and the railway station.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the old town and shopping area and has parking for 12 euros per night. However, many inconveniences made our stay an unpleasant one. First, I received a message from the bank that the hotel placed 340 euros on hold, even though the booking clearly said “pay at the property”. When I contacted the hotel they apologised and said it was a mistake but they did not take any action to fix that mistake. Once we arrived, we were ignored for over 15 minutes before receiving any help/checking in. Now for the room, it was pretty modern but the cleanliness did not live up to the standards of a three star hotel. The tissue box only had a few pieces left (meaning it was leftover from the previous customer), we found a hair tie on the ground from whoever was staying the room before us, and the chair was dirty. All these small details clearly show that the room was not properly cleaned, in addition to the fact that the sheets were not clean. There is no safe in the room, and no fridge, but you can keep your belongings in the staffs fridge, Unfortunately this hotel was a big disappointment, I will not be staying here again.

The hotel is really well situated. Our room was on top of the first set of stairs - 102 I think but beware there’s a nasty hidden step as you go in and out of the room which tripped us up several times. Room was very small but bed was comfy. Bathroom had a shower over the tiny bath with a rather annoying flimsy shower curtain that just sticks to you while you’re showering! Who uses shower curtains anymore! Staff on reception desk were lovely. Would recommend (in spite of shower curtain!)

We were offered a room at top level with overhead window, which we can open the curtain to see the sky from bed. Never tried this before and found it interesting. There is only one more window on the side, which is relatively small, so as the room. But the room is modern, clean and bedsheet is comfortable.
The hotel is located close to train station, and short distance from the city attractions.

Stayed in July but wouldn’t bother going back. Arrived to find we had been assigned two single beds, which was a bit disappointing as both myself and my partner of 30years are both over 6 foot tall. Was more annoyed when told by the gentleman that I requested it, I said I have never requested a room of that configuration in my life. Was then told my travel agent requested it, which I said was funny as that’s was my sister and I was sitting beside her when we booked the room months ago. He then said it was Expedia’s fault and I need to speak to them. In the mean time a female supervisor came out to say if I had a problem I could book another room so have two rooms?? I said why would I want two rooms with two lots of single beds in them(she had already told me that had no double rooms left)?? Not sure how this would have solved the problem? Apart from the fact the hotel is looking rather tired and lacked simple things such as adequate toilet paper and providing plastic cups in the room instead of a couple of glasses, really?? If you want a budget hotel and the things that go with it you won’t be disappointed as it does provide the basics. I personally would look around.

For such a busy place, this is a reasonably well located hotel. It’s clean and the staff were helpful and professional. The ensuite was very clean and looked new. The other furnishings are a bit dated but still clean. The hotel very generously offers free pastries, tea and coffee and there are no facilities for drinks in the rooms. This should be fine but the water was luke warm and this problem also occurred at breakfast although to be fair, as soon as I asked for hot water it was brought to me. However, I think the breakfast was over priced.

Excellent location, calm rooms, very aesthetically designed rooms with nice sunroof in both bathroom and above bed. Checkin and check out process was smooth. They have breakfast option inside the hotel, but we have not trued as we overslept both days:)..
Highly recommended for couples/ 2 adults stay. They don’t have third cot provision and request only 2 adults per room.Me and my daughter stayed and we enjoyed every bit of it.
Only thing i would suggest for hotel, please offer your that free coffee which you set up in the evenings from 1-9pm, in the mornings at-least for an hour.
They provide coffee, tea and some biscuits for their guests every evening. Its a nice gesture. It could be extended in the morning too. For few those who skip breakfast, only coffee would be of great help.

Wife and I were here for 2 nights in Nov.

The hotel location was wonderful, it was just around the corner from the train station and a short walk to old town. Our check in process was simple and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom amenities however is a bit lacking. There were no hair conditioner, just shampoo combined with body wash. There was not a safe in the room. WiFi worked great through out our stay.

I think they were fixing the Central Air units during our stay. Central Air unit did not work during the entirety of our stay. We needed circulating air, and opening the window during this time of year wasn't feasible. So the room felt really stuffy the whole time. We had to open the window intermittently through out, which was really annoying. They however did respected the hours of construction. Although noisy, the construction at least started late around 9:30 every morning.

For us, we had 3 shots of Pfizer vaccines. What other people choose for precaution don't bother us. We do what we can for ourselves. For those that care, just know the staffs here mostly don't wear masks, they never asked for our Pass Sanitaire either.

There are lots of wonderful restaurants and coffee shops near the hotel. Every morning was a treat to NOT participate in the breakfast at the hotel and seek alternatives. So unless you are pressed for time, I'd suggest seeking out your wonderful food options outside the hotel.

There were many grocery stores within 5 minute walking distance from the hotel. Which was very convenient.

Overall, we had 2 great nights sleep, it was a great stay and we will be back.
