The guy from the reception is very helpful and knows about everything!!!! My sister and I stayed at this place for a couple of days! The positive things besides the reception are: location, fully equipped kitchen, free coffee and the placer for your food in the fridge! The things that need improvement are: Wi-Fi very slow and it doesn't work...

I and my friend had a one night stop in this nice hostel on the last days of June. About 20 minutes walking form the train station and 10 minutes to the nearest old town's gates. The guy at the reception was really nice and spoke a perfect english, the hostel looked rad! It has a nice garden outside, with...

This hostel is situated on an easy ten minutes walk from the old town of Annecy. It is a nice hostel with a big garden with a bar where you can play some games like ping pong for free. Our four person room was okay and the shower was small but also okay. Too bad the (free) wifi does not...

The place is a bit run down in general, and the kitchen gets crowded since the onsite bar/restaurant is a little expensive and also shares the kitchen space for its washing up. The backyard bar area is nice with multiple spaces and seating options as well as a ping pong table. As far as economy lodging this is pretty much...

More than welcoming hostel staff, let us keep all our bikes in a secure lockup for no extra charge. Great communal area and lovely garden with lots of seats. Slightly difficult to find as not much of a sign and the wifi doesn't reach any of the rooms so have to be used downstairs.

Went there for 2 nights in September. The place is great, they recently added a Bar outside with a really nice garden that made me feel like if I were on the beach or something. A really nice spot to meet other travellers. The staff would do common diner often and it was pretty good food. The rooms are nice...

The Annecy Hostel is basically a large, converted house. In most ways it's typical of a good hostel, but what set this stay apart was the "backyard" space for community gatherings and socializing - practically a small private park setting with music and hosted bar for the social events. We were lucky enough to arrive during a music festival in...

If you're travelling through France don't miss this place! The little city is so beautiful and romantic and the hostel is really really nice! The garden in the back is the cutest with own bar, a swing and a pool table! I wish I could have stayed longer... There was a lot of space in the hostel, 2 kitchens and...

Hi all ! I have been to Annecy Hostel from 02/08 to 04/08. at first, i found some difficulties to find it but then i found out that it has a good location (5 minutes walk in that street just behind the cemetry of Loverchy) because it is at 15 minutes walk from the historical center of Annecy and so...

I loved Annecy Hostel!! Would highly recommend to anyone travelling through Annecy. This is your standard hostel, dorm rooms, communal kitchen, the wifi in common areas only ensures everyone interacts outside and that people aren't making calls in the bedrooms. But it's the outdoor area and bar really sets the Atmosphere bringing together travellers of all ages from all over...
