A bit shabby, but excellent value for the area and not far from the action in the centre of town. Struggled to find this on the usual internet searches, and was directed by the tourist office. I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on a recent ski trip to Chamonix in March 2015. It was small & cosy and has simple furnishings. It was excellent value E35 per night and had all I need. This hotel is a rather old one, but it is very nice in being that affordable in such a highly touristic area. The scenery from the windows is fantastic especially that Mont Blanc appears majestically with other mountains and can be seen from the room. The sunset on those mountains was quiet a view. I have been staying at this hotel for many years for long ski weekends with friends and have always found it comfortable, warm and friendly, if obviously not more than a few stars ratings wise. The fittings and furniture are of variable quality but pretty much always sufficient (the single rooms with separate bathrooms are probably the furthest from ideal)... More

My girlfriend and I found this gem while walking around Chamonix, looking for a place. We instantly fell in love when we met the staff and saw the room. Perfect for an overnight stay or a bit longer. Cosy, clean and warm. Great beds. The dining room and breakfast is old style, very simple but just right.
