Situated close to the centre with a back drop of the Auguille du Midi it is perfectly placed for adventure. Accommodation is clean and the food is great. Lovely bar area and fantastic staff. Couldn't recommend it more!

I understand this is a budget hostel and yes its cheap and cheerful, however looking around Chamonix there are better places to stay for a little bit extra. The hostel is however in a great location town centre is 2 minutes walk away and the bus stop 10 minutes. Accommodation (6 Bed Room) Nothing special and it is very basic...

Having stayed at the UCPA Les Lindars centre in Flaine which was top notch, expectations were naturally running high however, UCPA Cosmiques ended up being more of a disappointment albeit the amazing time we had skiing and meeting new people. The rooms are stock standard with basic bedding and the UCPA staff here were friendlier than those at Les Lindars...

Lovely long weekend spent at UCPA Chamonix. Great food and atmosphere in the centre. Managed to get one of the 'twin' rooms on the top floor - and although basic (as all the rooms at UCPA Centres are), mine had en suite shower and toilet, double bed and oodles of room - if you can it's definitely worth booking a...

Whilst on a trip to the French Alps with school in mid June: we stayed at the UCPA Chamonix. Upon arrival at UCPA, we were introduced to our rooms. My room was quite small but large enough for all of us. The views from rooms on both sides of the corridor offer truly amazing views (especially my friend's room, I...

I have been to UCPA Chamonix in January and really loved the experience. I would go back without hesitation and try to bring friends along. I am from Montreal and wanted to get a taste of skiing in the Alps. The reader of this review must always take into account the price\quality ratio which is excellent at UCPA as it...

Spent a week at this UCPA, skiing some great ski areas Flegere, les Houches and Grand Montets, ski pass and instruction and full board (sandwich lunch you make yourself). Eric the French chef is a legend and cooks excellent meals. Once you get over the shock of sharing a dorm with up to 5 others and doing your share of...

This was my second snowboarding holiday with UCPA and it was even better than the first one in Tignes, in 2013. The hostel is very well organized. My boyfriend and I stayed in a twin room which had a shower, so that was great as we didn't have to share our shower with anyone. The bedroom was quite spacious and...

This is a very nice travel concept. UCPA offers a complete ski vacation to a very low price. The rooms are simple but functionally, Breakfast is to simple for me and you make your own lunch bag to eat in the slope, dinner is good! In the price for the vacation everything is included. Room and 3 meal per day,...

The UCPA is run as a not-for-profit organisation, if you want to benefit from the amazing value for money trips that they facilitate then you need to know not to expect a hotel. You need to appreciate that you yourself are part of the concept. By helping out you keep the cost down. If you like to socialise with many...
