During the first week of January my family and I stayed at Chalet Schuss, and based on the official website we were expecting a traditional chalet stuffed with all the comforts one expects these days when traveling, and boy did they not disappoint. After a 40 minute drive from Geneva airport, we were dropped off at the bottom of a... More

The chalet 1802 gang have three amazing chalets (they showed us all three). We stayed in the farmhouse which has spacious rooms and brilliant bathrooms, the chef was superb, sadly for future guests he was moving on to a michelin starred restaurant but I'm sure he will be replaced by someone of similar calibre. Stayed at Chalet Schuss. Fantastic view across the whole of chamonix valley. Food was great and owners around all the time to help out. Proper chalet experience with the whole good wine, food, fire cosiness. Snow wasn't brilliant but can't blame them for that. All in all would recommend.

Charming people, nothing was too much bother, Food superb own resident chef, as good as any top restaurant, great wines, very helpful chalet staff, owners always around and available, charming French village close to Chaminox to dipin and out off. Rooms overall good size, although ours was a bit small, needs chest drawers but certainly adequate
