The hotel is on the edge of the main commercial area, so there are many shops and restaurants. Our room faced the public square in front of the hotel, but the traffic noise was not audible. This hotel uses real keys, although you are not tempted to keep this one as it is heavy. Walking about with this in your...

Booked this hotel on the hoof whilst doing a motorbike tour. Grenoble was just another tick in the box for some reason. Anyway, the hotel is clean and the staff where great. They immediately realised, when we presented ourselves at the reception, that we were indeed on motorbikes and gave us access to a secure area at the back of...

This hotel has more charm and character than your typical budget hotel. The service was professional and the rooms were fairly well-equipped and clean -- dated in terms of decorating and design (there was a LOT of wicker...), but with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also decent. The location is the ace up its sleeve, and...

Stayed for one night at this hotel. Location couldn't be better (right in the center of Grenoble). Rooms are spacious, clean and cozy but old-fashioned. Check-in was rather late (3pm in the afternoon) but staff at the front desk was friendly. All in all, a good stay and would choose this hotel again when in Grenoble.

The hotel has a rich history and was once a great hotel. It's still quite nice. We had a family room for 5 on the top floor, a little cramped but sufficient for a one night stay. The location is the best thing about the hotel, it's right next to the pedestrian area with lots of shopping. We parked on...

We spent six nights at this hotel and we were very satisfied. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beds were large and comfortable - we slept well helped by a good air con system! The rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed when necessary. The room had a safe but no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities. The...

Really enjoyed my recent stay here! Despite the fact that it is a little dated & despite the name, for me the hotel has a certain Je ne sais pas, perhaps call it French charm!? Service was excellent, the place was very clean & my room was comfortable- I slept very well every night. The AC did the trick &...

I always stop at this hotel when I come to Grenoble. Generous rooms, if a touch quirky. Discrete air conditioning so the temperature is properly managed without a horrendous racket. Comfy bed and great night's sleep. The staff are very friendly and helpful making this a compelling place to stop.

Service is very impressive and staff are very helpful and friendly. . It's an older hotel with historical feel and centrally located -walk-able to anything in old center- dining, shops, cable car, Isere river, Chartreuse park, running trail etc.). The standard room is not large but comfortable for me and the pricing is very affordable. Breakfast was very good with...

Stayed here recently on a trip from Spain to Switzerland. Hotel is centrally located near the old town with its many restaurants and lovely buildings. Room was very clean and bed so comfortable, I have not slept that well in a hotel for a long time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, pointing us to an exceptional little restaurant for...
