The rooms are clean and comfortable and perfect my family. The location was fantastic and quiet and we were able to walk everywhere. The staff were extremely helpful and saved us from almost missing to train to Annecy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our second stay in five years. Comfortable. Room up to date especially bathroom. Looks like it has been renovated since our last stay. The hotel requires a long climb to its lobby. Staff were polite. We had a bad experience at check out where we were in urgent need of a taxi, and felt, at first, brushed off by Madame... More

Dear Mr. Bartley H. C., On Thursday, September 29th, around 9:00am, you asked us for a taxi to go to La Part-Dieu train station. There was a congress this day in Lyon and it was hard to find a taxi then. Indeed, we called 4 different taxi companies to get a taxi for you but there was no taxi available,... More

This 2 star hotel is well worth the stay. It's location is close to all major attraction and steps from Bellecour Metro Station. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional, and will easily suggest all the tourist sights and how to get there. The rooms are basic but newly redone, and clean! Wifi is free. The 2 star rating... More

Stayed 2 nights in a room one floor up from reception and overlooking the narrow Rue de Savoie. A room looking onto the Theatre would be much better for the view, but I'm sure it would cost more. The room was spotlessly clean and had obviously been recently renovated and redecorated. The bed was comfortable, there was no aircon but... More

Just next to the theatre. Everything is basic inside but very clean and comfortable. It is quite during the night. not far from the river, so you could get some nice pictures in the evening just by having a short walk.

Nice very centrally situated boutique hotel in the centre of Lyon. Clean and comfortable bed, with nice modern bathroom. Room was a superior and had views over the square and Theatre of Lyon. I had visited before and stayed opposite, but this hotel was as nice. Need to note that there is no lift and the reception is up two... More

It is a basic hotel, but has everything one needs. (Well, the French never offer tea and coffee making in one's room; but that's true for the whole country in my experience.) It is in an older building, but its refurbished in modern style. You ascend a couple of flights of stairs to get there. I was happy here, and... More

Good basic 2 star hotel. Reception staff very friendly & helpful. Room ok, although sloped away from the window. Breakfast basic but enjoyable. Hotel could do with some refurbishing - e.g. room numbers stuck to door frame with tape.

This was a basic hotel, that's what you pay for. There is no air-conditioning but it is a very clean place, with pleasant, extremely helpful staff and a very nice breakfast too. We stayed 2 nights in this great little hotel close to the Soane river and centre of town. Only 5mins walk to rue Mercier where abundance of authentic Lyonnais restaurants and bars, high-end shopping, and historic sights with views overlooking the theatre (room 209). Spacious, clean, comfortable room with huge (French double) twin beds, good firm mattress, and bath/shower en-suite... More
