I would suggest that the Lyon Tourist Board ask Vincent, the owner / manager of this family run hotel, to train people in customer service. He is superb. Hotel au Patio Morand will not have all the facilities of a multi-national chain hotel. It can;t have. But while Vincent is in charge it will have genuine warmth, charm, hospitality and...

A last minute booking for 5 desperate Ozzies that couldn't drive any further. Very welcoming owner operator. Clean friendly and the first to be in NO1 refurbished unit, albeit a lil small (but that's France) we managed. Very comfy bed.

The Hotel au Patio Morand was the perfect accommodation and location for our week long stay in Lyon. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent in providing service and info on the city. The hotel provided a nice European breakfast each morning. The hotel has an adorable open air patio in its center that gives...

It was just a short walk across the bridge to get to the main square of Lyon. The rooms are small by American standards, but the bed was very comfortable. We did not have to pay extra for air conditioning (Lyon was experiencing a heat wave while we were there). The new owner, Vincent and Anthony (the manager) were beyond...

Before you read furthur, you must know that I did not pay for this hotel, my work did, so my opinion might be altered if I was the one forking out 150 euro for a 2 start hotel (which yes I do find expensive, but it was also the week of the Sirha, and booked one week before, so good...

We had two rooms at not a low price. Rooms were tiny, lights didn't work, window onto patio allowed non-smokers to 'smoke freely'. Breakfast was also tiny, smallest baguette ever made, tiniest slice of ham, weak coffee. When asked, maid brought a towel, but took away the soap and bath mat. She entered the room, opened the window, didn't clean...

My company booked me there, it was a really bad choice. Room is crazy small, opens directly on the outside, it was humid, bed and bathroom were meant for people under 1m80! You can hear everything from the room next door! Breakfast was really average. I do not recommend to stay there, besides it was not even cheap.

We had very small room & it was dark. We didn't like hotel so decided after 2 night to go else where. It is good location to metro stops so if you don't mind small rooms isn't bad. Breakfast is available but nothing too special. Bakery & small store nearby to pick up things to eat.

If you are only looking to rest your head for a few hours look at booking here. Plus: Free on street parking (we were lucky and asked if they had any parking and there was 1 spot free), bed was clean and no bed bugs. Minus: Mould in the shower, only 1 towel for two people as we booked a...

My husband and I stayed here based on the privios reviews. The location is great just across a pedestian bridge to the old city. The hotel is in what appears to be an up scale shopping area. The rooms at the hotel are SMALL. We lived on a boat for 4 years and these rooms are small. The room was...
