I stayed here one night. I got back late and the restaurant was closed but they made me an omelet and brought it to me in my room. So far, so good. The whole hotel, however, smelled like an old-people's home, and the bedding was very old, and didn't seem hugely clean. Then next morning, there was no hot water.... More

Room decor is old. The aisle is dark and scary. Bed is good though just the sheets are too old but clean. Decent place but expensive for its style. Very near the train station of Chateaucreux. Trams and buses are nearby too. Good for business but not for family I think.

Ideally situated to the train station with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Room was what I expected although the decor of the hotel is becoming dated in it's appearance. The wifi was not good and after trying to log on I just gave up.The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Knowing what to expect I would stay here again

I stayed in the "superior double room" for one night. The odour of old cigarettes was awful. Minibar was practically empty. Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak allowing only basic web browsing. No proper duvet - just an old looking blanket. Worst of all though was the "breakfast". There was virtually no choice whatsoever. I got better selection during my flight... More

We were particularly sorry that our hotel did not suit you. For minibars, rare equipment in a 3 star, we have selected the most commonly requested drinks by our customers : beer, mineral water, coca cola, in order to have sufficient rotation of these products. As for the Breakfast Buffet, served at discretion, it includes: mini croissants, chocolate rolls, rolls... More

Nice but definitely not great. Reception very polite but rooms really need to be completely redone: they look straight out of the '60s. Convenient location if you arrive by train. Restaurant nevertheless is excellent, top quality and perfect service

Small room but convenient to travel to other cities as it is very near to St.Etienne-Chateaucreux railway station. I was here for business trip; so, I did not spend much time in the hotel. The front staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant was good in service and food. If you do not stay at this hotel, I recommend you... More

It was quite the hassle to park your car on the road outside the hotel, run in to settle the room accommodations and get handed the room key (a big heavy knob of wood with the room key attached on string) before you get directions from the counter staff for parking directions. The garage, which is complimentary to guests who... More

This otel is quiet possible the worst hotel I ave ever stayed in mainly the decor it would give anyone nightmares with egyptians all round hallways included and the tomb effect painted onto the walls, I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this three star is quiet possibly the biggest exaggeration to date. The rooms are old cramped... More

I don't think I'm a tough customer. But I arrived exhausted and thirsty, but the key for the mini-bar was not readily available. how would one know that it has to be demanded explicitly.... The whole place is a bit run down. The TV installation is archaic and without remote control which worked. I don't understand how this hotel can... More

We spent 75 euros for one night in this hotel from hell. It was stuffy and hot. The shower did not work and the bath drain plug didn't hold water. It was noisy all night. They advertised BBC & CNN which we could not access. When asked for help we were told to figure it out ourselves. The only good... More
