As a family who have been lucky enough to stay at some fabulous 5 star hotels around the world we were not expecting anything spectacular when we arrived at the Beausite. However we were bowled over by the lovely owners and the very friendly staff who couldn't have been more friendly and went out of their way to be helpful....

Whilst the location was wonderful and the refurbishment had a great deal of charm I felt it overpriced - 6 euros for a single egg at breakfast after paying 18 euros for the buffet, 9 euros for a tiny pot of herbal tea all seemed a bit much when already paying almost 200 euros a night - staff whilst polite...

We stayed for 6 nights at Hotel Beau Site. It was beautifully decorated, had an excellent position on the lake and the staff were very attentive. We had a comfortable room. The private lakeside area was amazing and we rented paddle boards twice. The only downsides were that we weren't willing to pay €18 each for breakfast. There was a...

We spent 3 nights at Beau Site in early July and were very impressed when we pulled up. We had a premium room, overlooking the lake which was very nice with a huge bathroom but it was rather expensive. And as someone who can't survive without a cup of tea first thing in the morning, it was definitely lacking in...

After reading some of the reviews on here I was a little worried about what to expect- we were staying for 5 nights with our two children and had booked bed and breakfast. It was a little more expensive than we wanted to spend but we were happy to treat ourselves. When we arrived everyone was very welcoming and friendly!...

We booked the standard room in this beautiful renovated hotel. The hotel itself was looking great with a perfect location and beautiful garden. The room we had was located on the 1st floor on the street side which made it impossible to open the windows during the night. Quite some traffic but most annoying were the employees talking after working...

On arrival, I was overcome by the beauty of the location but quickly brought down by the room, which was supposed to be a family suite but was just one room. The room was booked by a friend so I didn't feel I could complain. However when the barman was rude I did mention it - despite my reservations. I...

I was a frequent customer in the last few years before the new owner totally refurbished the place a few months ago. Hotel Beau Site is now a modern, sleek and design but lost all its charm and authenticity. Restaurant was good but quantity ridiculously small. Absolutely not worth the money. 15 euros for the smallest caesar salad I have...

Very pleasant stay--breakfast is excellent. Staff is friendly. Beach is lovely. Talloires has a unique feel--fantastic views, ideal climate, amazing hiking, many good restaurants, all very low-key and relaxing.
