We stayed here for a three night summer break. Like many Alpine hotels, it is quite dated and could do with a refurb - but I suppose it adds to the quaintness of the place. It's pricey and dated, and if it wasn't in the Alps I'd give it three stars, however having stayed in similar places before, it is... More

We stayed here for a bit of summer alpine hiking. We were made very welcome by the enthusiastic owner. Our rooms were simple and clean, with added bonus of a few English TV channels. We opted for half board and very happy with our choice - The food was very good and waiters fluent in English (as is the ever... More

We used Hotel Altitude as a stop over as a trip through the Alps. As a family of three we had a family room with a south facing balcony view. The room was very large and had an upper duplex room set up. Reception staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. The room also has great views looking onto... More

Congratulations to Nicholas and his staff at Hotel Altitude! Fantastic friendly, efficient and attentive staff make this hotel easy to recommend. It was a 2 minute walk in late season to the ski lift which looks like you could ski in and out with a bit more snow. There was plenty of snow and excellent skiing late season btw.. We... More

Lovely hotel and excellent staff. This lovely, recently renovated hotel, is warm with lots of French Alps charm and a twist of modern. The staff is fantastic and ready to help you with anything from ski area recommendations, weather reports, rentals, or great wine recommendations at dinner. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like part... More

A gem of a hotel. Pleasant rooms with good facilities, though might have had problems with the number of sockets had there been two of us. Food excellent with ample adjustment to dietary needs. Very friendly staff.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Easy access to lifts, ski school, and a short walk 'across the snow field' to the village. I will take a short, beautiful, quiet walk to the village over a walk, bus or car ride to the lifts. Pop out the ski room, put your skis on and you are off. The service... More
