This place is a dump. It is filthy and run by students. 6 children vomiting today. Hotel manager blamed the children for bringing NORO Virus into hotel. That's 6 days into our holiday. Useless woman. This is because she still refuses to acknowledge that NORO virus is not normal or acceptable. So she won't deal with it. It is not...

It's not often I get this upset about a hotels standards - but this was really worrying. It's very obvious that the hotel never gets a deep clean. And don't get me started on the table cloths. They were the same cloths as when I stayed two years ago and quite honestly they don't look like they have been washed...

I am only writing the review to counter some of the negative reviews previously written. I went as part of a group of 8 and booked for the location and having ready the previous comments had pretty average expectations. The overall package was much better and I can only conclude people have seriously misjudged what you get for your money...

We were a bit wary after reading some of the negative reviews but the trip surpassed our expectations. Hotel is in a great location, a little bit tired but what you'd expect from a 3* hotel in the alps. Food and service were good, room comfy and bathroom clean and recently re-done. The absolute highlight was the crèche on site...

Our first visit to a MW place since they are not allowed to have resort ski hosts. This seems to have altered the whole feel of the place as the staff are now just worker bees. Mark Warner are also economising, even after a £50 pp surcharge this season - even for later bookers ( November) - when they should...

I recently stayed at this hotel on a skiing weekend and it was perfect. The location is ideal as it is right in the heart of town, five minutes' walk from the slopes and the chair lifts/gondolas etc up to the excellent range of ski slopes to suite all levels. The hotel has comfortable, basic rooms with large bathrooms, a...

I needed a hotel pretty central about five minutes walk fro the Solaise ski lifts. It's my fourth visit so I knew what to expect. The hotel is a shabby 3 star with decent food. It is three quarters board namely breakfast, afternoon tea, cakes, biscuits and soup and a 4 course dinner with free house wine. The rooms are...

Like other reviewers, I am also surprised that Mark Warner put their name to this hotel. I do not mind the fact that the hotel is very basic, it is a 3 star after all. However, we were also struck with sickness as were other guests, despite using the hand gel supplied in reception and in the restuarant. I am...

This hotel is in a great location in the very centre of Val d'Isere. There are two bus stops for getting to Solaise, Le Fornet and La Daile just across the square and it is an easy walk to the Solaise chair and nursery slopes. When it was first built it was probably one of the best in Val d'Isere...

The location is great as it is in the middle of the town centre and right in front of the ski bus that takes you to the main lifts. But housekeeping and food is a bit of a hit and miss. Bathrooms not cleaned for the day, toilet rolls not replaced, new towels felt damp, left wet damp towels in...
