We stayed in Aspen Lodge with our children aged 3, 7 and 10 in the Easter holidays of 2015. We hired a nanny and used the Oxygene ski school organised by VIP for the older children. Our Chalet host and nanny worked hard to make things easy and we had a relaxing time. Amazing transfer with a coach meeting just...

We stayed in the Maple chalet of Aspen Lodge in the last week of February 2015. I have to admit we set a few challenges for the VIP team from Day One in Maple Lodge. And I was heartily impressed by the results. 1. Two birthdays in our group over the week. We were treated to champagne, balloons, cake and...

We booked the whole of lodge 8 (Maple) for half-term week and can't say how much the entire family enjoyed our stay. The lodge is perfect for a family ski break with a fantastic location in the heart of this very swish resort. VIP has a winning formula of providing sensible luxury which I would rate as super-comfy rather than...

Recently returned from a fantastic week in Val d'isere. Since we booked the holiday in October 2014 VIP Ski have been nothing but helpful from the lead up to the holiday to landing back in the UK. Having great snow conditions obvioulsy makes the holiday even better but it was the service provided that topped it off. Aspen Lodge, situated...

Recently got back from my first trip with VIP Ski to Val D'Isere, and probably the best ski trip I have been on! The chalet is right in the centre of town. Perfect location! About a 4 minute walk to the main lifts, and then you have the added bonus of being in the perfect place for restaurants, bars and...

Just got back from an incredible week staying with VIP Ski in Aspen Lodge. Our group was looked after very well from start to finish by our chalet host, whose cooking was superb and every meal was spot on - not to mention the freshly baked cakes which were always waiting for us when we got in from skiing! We...

If you're planning your annual ski trip and have chosen to book with VIP Ski, destination Val d'Isere and specifically their Aspen Lodge property be warned! This is our third night as I'm wiring this review which will hopefully make sense in the end. Firstly let's start with all the positives of VIP, chalets great, service excellent, food great, always...

Having stayed at the Aspen Lodge three years ago, this time in the 'Sycamore' suite (sleeps six), i knew roughly what to expect. Centrally located in Val D'isere, ideal for most bars, restaurants and a bus ride to the slopes or a 10-minute walk with your skis. I think your experience will much depend on the chalet host allocated to...

We stayed in the Aspen Lodge in January 2015 (4th - 11th). We were in the Birch Suite at the top of the building. Nice room - far bigger than a lot of ski chalet accommodation, good ensuite and really comfortable beds.

Aspen Lodge offers spacious and comfortable accommodation at a price, but though in a central position for the shops, it is at a distance from the slopes. This is a nuisance carrying skis but manageable, with a bus option. The food was frankly poor, the porridge of all things being inedible on two days and poor the other five. The...
