We stayed one night in Maison de la Pra, having done little research into the area, having made our booking to coincide with Le Tour. It turns out that that this hotel became the highlight of our honeymoon, beautifully restored by the family, the rooms are spacious and luxurious, centrally located, fantastic host and and Valence itself was charming. Can't... More

We stayed for 2 nights on business. The hotel was lovely and clean with modern amenities and beautiful decor. They offered an incredible breakfast with fresh fruit and croissant. The owners are friendly and helpful. I would stay again and for longer next time!

the Maison is situated in the old centre of Valence. You expect given the internet projection something nicely situated, the truth is different. The house is hardly reachable by car, not mentioning the possibilities to park. The standard room we got @160 euro/night, was 47 steps upstairs. Spacious room with separate bathroom and toilet. You dont get breakfast included in... More

We come to Valence twice a year and always stay at Maison de la Pra. It has become a second home. The rooms are fantastic, try the red or the black. Mr. and Mrs. Bayart are always very nice and very helpful with advice on what to see and where to go in the region.

We stayed in this guesthouse on our way from Avignon for one night.  The very large room was lovely by way of furnishings and the bathroom was large and modern.  This guesthouse is in an interesting old building and was basically brought up to standard from being derelict in the early 2000's.  The owners have done a very good job... We stayed in the Hotel Residence de Bressac, which is a "twin-residence" of Maison de la Pra and it was a wonderful experience. The residence and the rooms are stylish, beautiful and the hosts, Diane et Henri Jean Bayart, very kind and always prepared to help. As we did damaged car, it was really useful to stay in their residence!... More

We booked this place because we thought it would be good to stay in an apartment and cook for ourselves and do some washing. However the so -called apartment was a very beautiful but sparsely furnished large room with a basin and microwave in a cupboard, no possibility of any real cooking and nothing to cook with. The host was... More

“What a gem of a place! We had no idea that this was such a beautiful buiding inside , 15Jth century architecture with modern art on walls, sweeping steps lead you to your room, which had many pairs of stylish shoes on the ceiling and shoes as door handles to the wardrobe! A real experience and so refreshingly different to normal hotel rooms! Big bathroom with glass sink, facilitites for cooking and making drinks,if only they had tea and coffee in rooms as we had come quite a way and no shops were open on sunday. Had to call the owner as was not easy to find hotel even though we were in the right street! He ws very friendly and gave us info on where to eat etc, and heloed carry suitcase to room. I would recommend this place highly and wish we could have stayed longer!”
