We stayed here one night arriving early enough to enjoy the sauna and fitness room facility on the top floor. The sauna is turned off in the early evening when the kitchen starts preparing dinner and does not restart in the morning until after breakfast service has ended. The fitness room and showers are available 24 hours. The spa facility... More

The Hotel Falken is located in a small town in the beautiful Blackforest. The room was very clean and pleasant, but not spacious or elegant, which is what one should expect for a moderately priced hotel. The breakfast was very good and the dinning room was decorated beautifully. The one negative was the limited parking space. We arrived at little... More

The H-R Falken is located in a picturesque part of the Black Forest. Unfortunately we were on a road trip and hadn't allowed enough time to see the area, so we plan to rectify that next year and to stay here for longer. In this part of the world many people don't (won't?) understand or speak English, but here the... More

Located in a quiet street (30 km/h zone) in Baiersbronn, this family-run hotel is a good place to visit the Black Forest, particularly if your plan is to do some hiking in the area, which is perfectly possible. It is located about 1-hour drive from Baden-Baden and about 90 minutes driving to Triberg. Strasburg is also within a 90 minute... More

Very, very pretty area and very nice place to stay. Room was large and comfortable with a great view, bar next door was fun, dinner was great - and you cannot beat the price. Try the Grauer Burgunder - one the better wines we encountered.

Huge rooms, nice bathroom, excellent run hotel on a side street. Plenty of street parking, great relaxing stay! Also ate dinner in the restaurant and it was 5 star quality! We had a four course meal that was excellent quality and seemed too cheap. The hotel and restaurant does not look as good as it is. I would absolutely stay... More

This hotel/restaurant/pub is nestled on a side street in the valley of a scenic resort town in the Black Forest. The town is extremely picturesque. My wife and son climbed a hill and found a herd of goats (very friendly). The pub serves great bean soup and other items, while the restaurant is a gormet-style establishment with a very competent... My husband and I chose to stay here in Baiersbronn as part of a birthday/Christmas trip, and were not disappointed by the beautiful town/valley in which it is located. Although we have practically no German we were made very welcome by all the staff and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt festive and... More

The hotel offers great rooms, friendly service and excellent food at a price that is quite remarkable. We have stayed here two years running and it just gets better and better. The breakfast buffet is a joy to behold and the freshly cooked eggs were memorable.

My husband and I spent several nights at the Falken, wanting to stay in one of the smaller towns of the Black Forest. Our room was huge, with a nice size sitting area and also a balcony.
