My wife an I arrived and were shown to a lovely room on the first floor, overlooking the pedestrianized shopping area. The room was spotlessly clean and a very good size. This ended up being a great place to stay. The staff were so nice and helpful. The place was clean well maintained. It was also great to stay in such a historic hotel that was close to everything and has a view of the castle! Would stay again!

This review is for the restaurant. Hotel restaurants are a good choice for Christmas and Hotel Zum Ritter ended up being an excellent choice. The room is elegant and warm with wood panels with sculptured figures and a fire place. The food was German fair, but done to high standards. The service was excellent and English was not a problem...
