This is the first time I've slept on the top floor of a car park overlooking bay 5-23! BUT don't be put off. This is a good budget hotel in a brilliant location minutes from all the main sights and right above the funicular. The rooms are simple, breakfast is fine, but the location is outstanding. Very close to your...

Stayed here for one night when visiting Heidelberg. 1. Location; centrally located in the old town. It takes 10 minute to Walk to the Castle, the cable car is right on the first floor of the building. 2. Rooms: They are with an average size, we had a terrace with a lovely view over the old town. The shower is...

Unusually sited on top of a multi-storey car park, but you don't notice this much once you're in the hotel (apart from the multi-level layout and concrete ceilings. Pros: parking on site (8 euros a day); decent continental breakfast; spacious room; spacious bathroom; young man on reception couldn't have been more helpful (even trying to find a pharmacy so I...

We were traveling with our son and saw that the Am Schloss had a two bedroom 'apartment' and thought that would be ideal for us. It is also above a parking garage, which meant no problem parking and an added big plus was the tram that goes up the mountain to the Castle and the Konigstuhl is right in the...

Within the old city with a metro bus stop in front of the entrance. Next to the funicular which takes you to the castle on the mountain. Can walk everywhere from here. Room was comfortable and the breakfast ample. Friendly and informative staff. Would stay here again without any doubts

Hotel situated on the upper floor of the parking-it seems to be unusual...on the contrary, no worry about your car plus perfect starting position on the way to city castles downtown The staff kind and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable furnished, drinking coffee on the roof an unexpected benefit.we enjoyed the stay very much!

If you want to be in the center of the city and close to the castle this is the hotel for you. It's a bit tricky to find but the gps will get you there! Rooms are modern and clean and the breakfast is good. You can park in the structure the hotel is in otherwise there is parking around...

Very close to the cable car up to the castle and the old town with shopping and restaurants. Any kind of food you could want including Hard Rock Cafe. And a great little gummy bear shop. Great architecture and castle grounds are extensive - Plan time to walk around.

The staff was wonderful! We spoke no German and they were really helpful, suggesting dinner spots and giving us ideas for our stay and travels around the country. The view from room 16 was spectacular, at night the castle is lighted. Very good breakfast all fresh and great coffee.
