We stayed 1 night in this hostal. It's also known as "IB Hostel Stuttgart" on Google Maps. The Hostal can easily be reached via the metro (U15, exit bubenbad) from the central station. Check-In was fast and no questions left. We wanted to exclude the breakfast but this wasn't possible... Our 4 bed room (approx. 93€) was in the cellar...

I've stayed here 5x over the last 8 years. There is a tram stop right outside, travel to the inner city within minutes. They keep renovating and the newer rooms have very modern bathrooms. Only gave it 4 stars because during the last visit the management seemed a bit disorganized and we waited a long time to get our rooms....

I'm just back from my fourth visit to 'the hostel'. Each time I visit, there are more improvements. I stayed in a newly refurbished room in the main building this time. It was much, much better than some hotel rooms I have stayed in. Immaculately clean, good beds, double glazing, central heating and a large, en-suite bathroom. The views from...

I have lived here for two weeks back in 2009 and again booked a room there for a friend last year. It has a very good view to the city, old but clean building, very young and very friendly personnel and above all, an extremely good breakfast buffet (price included in room). Rooms without a bath are more expensive, but...

I would recommend the Hostel for value for money. The rooms are basic but clean; the beds are very comfortable; the views from rooms are stunning; the staff are extremely helpful and the choice of food throughout breakfast and evening dinner is of a high standard. For anyone wishing an affordable stay in Stuttgart I would recommend the Youth Hostel....

“Some of the youngsters have to get up for work early in the morning during week days. They are very quiet and respectful of others but if you are easily disturbed, you may want to pack some ear plugs. Did not hear so much as a whisper at night!”
