Friendly, helpful staff. About 15-20 minute walk from Hauptbahnhof. Stayed 10 nights: WiFi sucked much of the time, very slow and many dropped uploads. Complete all critical online tasks before arriving at Stuttgart Hostel Alex 30. The nearest laundromat is about 2-3 km distant from the hostel.

Whilst the hostel is clean, and within walking distance to the city centre, I felt that it was ultimately over priced for what you were getting. The rooms are incredibly basic, and it's shared bathrooms - which is all fine, but the price should have been lower. Especially given the fact that the beds were incredibly uncomfortable - I routinely...

Nice place, clean and easy, where you can meet people from all over the world. 5 min to the center of the city by feet. Fair price. Bed not so confortable but chance to have private room. Toilet sharing with other guests but clean and confortable. 24/7 reception. If you are young and you need to find a cheap place...

its friendly clean and very close to the city centre of Stuttgart. One can walk to the Koenigstrasse and to the beautiful Uhlandshoehe were one can overlook the fabulous Stuttgart skyline! The tram and then the local stations are easy to get to and the public transport brigs one to all the important sights in Stuttgart such as the football...

The installations are very good and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast is average. The location is a bit far from the central area. So there is not much to see around. Maybe is a bit pricey considering that private rooms have to share bathrooms.

The Kitchen is helpful, you get a crazy-big breakfast and it is quite cozy for a bed and breakfast. To top it over, the staff is really friendly and would help you with anything you might need. Pretty good for a hostel.

Everything was over priced for what it was. The single room (€40) was right on the street so you could here the traffic all night. The breakfast (€8) was very basic and the coffee was terrible. The parking (€12) was in a dark and quiet alley, perfect for any thieves. The parking was also meant to be locked at 10pm,...

I stayed in Alex 30 Hostel for 5 nights in July. The hostel was clean and all the common areas were in a good shape. My room was located at the street side of the hostel and you could hear the tram going by every day and night. Another minor side was that WLAN wasn't working on the 1th floor,...

Definitely, one of the BEST hostels I've stayed in lately. When walking in, you are greeted by a nice bar, kitchen and 24 hour desk. The place is very nice and the staff are friendly. There are purpose lockers downstairs in the basement for putting your kit. The room was clean, spacious and even had lockers, a TV and fridge...
