Room was large with separate living room area. Balcony with view of mountains was awesome. Room was clean and beds comfortable. We arrived by train early. The host let us leave our bags so we could walk around town. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices of meats, cheese, and fruit. Everyone was so friendly and always helped us with... More

A beautiful, traditional style hotel in the centre of Mittenwald. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the Bavarian countryside and The border with Austria is only a few kilometres away.

We only stayed one night and the place was not full, so we had plenty of room to park and also plenty of space at breakfast. The man that helped us check in gave us all a glass of sect while we were filling out the paperwork. Fortunately some of us speak German, which helps since the staff is limited... More

I loved the traditional atmosphere in the hotel, The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower in the room was excellant but the toilet paper could do with a better quality. I also found the lighting in the room a little dim, but the views from the room are great. Breakfast and evening meals were plenty and delicious. The hotel... More

A wonderful stay at the Hotel Bicherlof. The rooms were cosy and traditional and the food was home cooked and delicious. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. Hotel Bicherlof is situated in a beautiful village with amazing natural wonders all around.

We treated this as a good B&B. It was a base for a walking holiday and well situated to access the surrounding hikes. The breakfast was adequate, the room was warm and the bed was comfortable. We felt it was good value for money. The Wi-Fi was free and it worked well, which is a bonus.

This place is very clean, spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is something to look forward to. Various types of freshly baked bread rolls (poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, plain, white/rye) and best brewed coffee in a pot (!) per table, and of course all the butter/spread/jam/meats/cheese/gherkin/tomato/etc to go with the rolls. On top of that there... More

We loved our stay at the Bichlerhof, it was really cosy and the staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were big (some would say outdated, but I think its meant to have that old fashioned look, not all hotels and rooms have to be modern, as long as its clean that's all that matters to us). Breakfast was... More

This hotel has figured out what customer service is all about. Staff were always helpful and friendly, rooms spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was the best I had while traveling in Austria and Germany. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We are very disappointed with the unfriendly staff and outdated rooms. The single bed mattress was dilapidated and our son had back pain for 3 days after the stay. We were also not told to pre book for dinner. Bichlerhof will never see our family again.
