Our room was nicely situated near a large outdoor chess table next to the biergarten. The glass door made it simple to take the dog out for a walk instead of walking through the hotel halls. Room was extremely large and I don't just mean for the price. The pool is a really nice escape for the day or evening....

You never know what to expect when booking accommodations from overseas but the Dorint had received high marks from quite a few travelers. It met all of my expectations and then some. Thought not in the center of town it is not far from it, which actually makes it a nice option. Great Alpen-themed grounds and accommodations that felt very...

I visited this hotel with my family. I choose it because most rating recommend it for families with Kids. It is not far from the center (note we have our car). They have small playground for kids. Also, they have a special room for kids in the hotel. We stay in two rooms apartment. One disadvantage is no elevator available,...

Great resort, especially for families with young children. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment that albeit did not have a kitchen and only one toilet in the two bathrooms, it was very spacious with a rustic look. Even though we read some of the reviews which noted worn furniture or the condition of the building, we did not find...

Given that Garmisch Partenkirchen markets itself as a top-end resort I'm surprised a place like the Dorint Sporthotel is allowed to exist there because it was dreadful. On check in I was advised to reserve a table for dinner and to go to the adjacent restaurant to do this but there was nobody there. When I pointed this out back...

Stayed here in the summer and had a great time. The hotel is a little tired and 'rustic' but was spotlessly clean. Its not cheap but then nothing is cheap in Germany! The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the pool was great. Only a short walk to shops and just over the road from the summer toboggan run,...

The hotel is a bit old and no so updated. Poor wifi and no air conditioned neither fans at rooms so in summer time is realy hot to sleep. There is a lot of stairs and aisles to walk to reach the rooms and no help to carry heavy luggage!! The location is very good

Thank you very much for your feedback! Your right, our hotel is not like a hotel you find anyway. That is why we are also called "little Bergdorf". I am a bit irritated that you do not get any help from the team. This is not our claim. Please contact the next time our friendly reception employees for help to...

This is our 2nd time at this hotel. The 1st time (almost 15 years ago) I would say service was flawless. This time the hotel seemed to be overrun by children who had little to no adult supervision. Small children were running all over. The wonderful "fruhstuck" (breakfast buffet) had kids coughing all over food, sticking fingers in food and...

Beautiful hotel, big rooms, large garden, very good sport facilities. tunnel idea is fantastic, spent a few hours getting lost underground. Restaurant is wonderful, staff very friendly. The only downside is the distance from the town.
