This place is larger than you might think when you first arrive. It was very busy with motorbikers. We managed to get parking on site. Nice, clean, comfortable room. We had a really nice breakfast too. Staff were helpful.

Basic in comparison to a 'luxury' hotel but it ticks all of the boxes - comfortable beds, easy to open windows, great showers, thick walls and plentiful continental breakfasts. The only fault is a lack of tea making facilities in the room but there is an area downstairs with a hot water machine, tables and chairs where you can linger...

This hotel consists of two older buildings that are connected through a newer building. The rooms are quite nice but don't have a standard blueprint or size due to the old houses. There is free wifi and you can open the windows but there is no AC. The breakfast was disappointing without fresh juices. They also refused to make fried...

Stayed here whilst attending course at MedauSchule nearby. Spacious room with good bathroom. Spotless. Buffet breakfast was good and plentiful with a good choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereals, seeds, cheese, cold meats, bread etc. Staff were obliging, accommodating and friendly.

I've been coming to Coburg for decades, but was never that impressed by the price/value ratio of the hotels on offer - until this time, when I stayed at the relatively new Haus Gemmer. Its advantages include (besides attractive prices) free onsite parking, a friendly reception, large, modern, well-equipped rooms (my rear-facing room was perfectly quiet; those facing the not-terribly-busy...

The hotel consists of two houses (one being rejuvenated with work almost finished already) a ten-minute walk from splendid Coburg city centre and with a specially good quality / price ratio. Staff courteous and available until 20.00 hrs. (arrival later possible by giving notice and getting entry code), breakfast rich enough and included in the price (a single cost 54...

This is a very clean, spacious hotel within walking distance of the old town and castle. We would stay there again. It had plenty of off stree parking and the staff made us feel very welcome. Coberg is a good location to do day trips to Bamberg,Erfurt and Nurnberg.

More of an updated inn in feel than a hotel. Located an easy 10 minute walk from the ancient, old Town of Coburg. Impeccably kept room (#20) at 79 Euros for 2 people with 3 beds so lots of space for relaxation. Unique Qualities: Well maintained. No lobby to lounge around in but still comfortable. Very limited internet access. Staff...
