I would stay here again for no other reason than the blackout curtains that left the room in complete dark. I slept 11 hours the first night. The place is quiet, clean and has a lovely breakfast spread complete with adorable dog. The only thing we did not enjoy was the shower, the screws are loose in the joints that...

Free parking in the street outside was great. The lady at reception lovely and her english was pretty good, she was very helpful. The hotel is clean and tidy, the bathroom was tired but clean and I was happy with it. Beds comfy enough but walls very thin- every conversation could be heard. Not really an issue as everyone was...

Friendly staff (one lady who seems to do everything- run reception, prepare breakfast, etc). Very average, small, somewhat cramped rooms. Note that there is no elevator and no one to help with heavy luggage. Runs more like a bed and breakfast, and a one woman show. There is not always someone available at reception, so you do not get the...

Hotel is conveniently located near a rail station. 25 minutes to downtown or Oktoberfest. Hotel has some parking also. Rooms are older but comfortable. Size adequate. I will try to be unbiased to the fact that we were there during Oktoberfest, however this place still has some issues. Main one is the walls are thin and you can hear noise...

This hotel was perfect for my first trip to Munich. It was very quaint and very german-like. Although an older hotel, all the rooms are remodeled and very clean. We did not need to rent a car as the location was centrally located to good dining, grocery store and bus & subway access. It was easy to get to the...

This hotel was lose to transport for Munich. It had a supermarket and restaurants nearby. The rooms were a good size with a good sized bathroom. The room was clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel was close to the venue where we were to attend a concert and that was about the only positive thing i can say about this hotel. The room was very basic, poor breakfast and a horrible bathroom. Overall the hotel is too expensive for what it offers.

Very bad experience with the hotel owners. The rooms are old and shower don't work properly. And the most expensive night was279€. imagine paying that for a bad room. The hotel is also out of the way. takes more than 30min to get to city center. Alot of unhappiness during our discussions to check out of the hotel. And our...

I had a one night stay at Hotel Beer, more of an English style B&B than a hotel, in March 2013. I chose the hotel as it was close to an attraction I was visiting in Munich. Hotel Beer is a 5 minute walk to the hotel from the metro train, please note it's better to leave the station exit...

Hotel Beer was just what we needed for a four day trip to Oktoberfest. Having started booking a trip one month before Oktoberfest, there was not much available for a reasonable rate in Munich...until I found Hotel Beer. They had competitive rates (considering the time of year), good location, and free breakfast. It is a five minute walk to the...
