A Mercure hotel always fits the brand standards. Stay simple and offer the basis necessity.
Getting here was simple from Munich airport as I took the Lufthansa bus and later a connecting subway.
I checked late evening around 9. The receptionist was prompt, organized and quick.
The decor of the hotel is very fancy, stylish with various paintings of past female royals on each room door and many others on the wall...
My room was very cosy and had everything I needed as a business traveller. Well planned rooms with Various power and USB ports.
The 4th floor though is not for travelers with heavy/too many luggage or physically challenged as the elevators access is only till 3rd floor.

The lobby area serves breakfast and this was kept simple and exactly what is required to start the day full of energy... Small but smart option for making your own healthy cereal bowl. Plus they had local bread and sausages speciality.
Area to highlight: Housekeeping service didn’t replenish tea/coffee station. Plus it was surprising for them to change my dry towel after day 1 as Going by the sustainability program of Accor this was strange and also as I had kept it folded in one corner.
Another focus to ensure periodic checks are made for specific stations as Honey display offering 3 type had 2 empty bottles. I guess a weekly task..

A hotel I Surely recommend to business travelers visiting Munich as not only my stay was comfortable but the area is well connected with trams, bus and other transport, plus many decent restaurants in the surrounding.

My wife and I, and several family members stayed here for 4 nights over New Year.

There are frequent trams to catch to the HBF station (20, or 21) or its a 35 minute walk.

A bit further on to the old town.

We paid a bit extra for a larger room, and it served us well. WIFI worked well.

Staff were polite, and helpful. We had booked (and paid) online direct with the hotel, and our rate included breakfast, wich was a reasonable spread.

Despite this, a lady tried to charge us for breakfast on checkout. Luckily, I had the confirmation email on my phone to show her.

There was also a nice little bar downstairs that had reasonable prices.

I'd stay again if the price was right

We booked 2 rooms via Accor ALL Family 50% off second room offer as we travelled as 2 adults and 2 kids. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The toilet/bathroom is small also but enough for us as we always go out for sightseeing.

Location is convenient considering the price we paid. Tram 20/21 is very frequent to take you to Old Town, City Centre and Central Station. Tram 12 takes you close to Nymphenburg Castle. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel located near Olympiapark, it’s short tram rides away from central Munich and BMW Welt 2 BMW Museum.
Room amenities are good and breakfast is standard. The only peeve we have, if any, is our emptied water bottle which we intend to consolidate and return at one go were removed from our room even when they are placed together with our luggages. Not that the money matters, but housekeeping should never remove guests’ belongings. Have to give overall rating as “Average” despite all other areas are good.

I'd like to share my bad experience with this hotel during summer. The air conditioner do not work properly and it is a problem they know about. I was in a top floor bedroom, with low ceiling and direct sun during the whole afternoon and beggining of the night. It was simply impossible to be in the room without air conditioner. After the first night without sleep, I askded the reception to get it fixed and they told me it is a problem that they must reset the machine many times a day and they usually forget. So, I had to "remember" them everytime the air conditioner stopped working by calling the reception. The second day I asked to change room (at least without the sun) or the hotel, they said it was impossible. They were fully booked. I asked for a solution, and they gave me a fan (attached photo). I asked to speak with the manager (it was a saturday) and I was told that there is no manager during the weekends. Totally unacceptable... and in high season.
During summer, when it was over 33oC, I cannot understand how the hotel do not have a protocol that every hour somebody should check the central air conditioner.
Just to highlight, the staff was really nice, but I felt like they couldn't do much and there was nobody in charge to solve problems.
On monday, my check out day, I asked for a late check out and they gave it for free as a token to the "climate" problem. It is a gesture, but what I needed was the air conditioner to work well. I had 4 days of a bad experience.

Excelent alternative. Well located, less than 1 km away from Rotkreuzplatz. Even though the area is not very touristy, you will find at least three or four very good choices to have a meal (Asian, Greek, Italian, etc.) and coffee.
It is clean, handy and comfortable.
All the staff is very friendly and always willing to help in anything you need.

The hotel is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Typical Mercure hotel facility, clean and quiet. Quite a few restaurants nearby, self laundry is 10 minutes away. Easy to travel to city and train station by tram. Love the bakery next to the hotel. Only thing is that the hotel no longer provides kettle, you need to buy water.

Great hotel. Nice hotelroom. Had a fantastic stay. Will come again for sure. Nice quiet and dark room due to shutters. Feels like a smaller hotel. And that is a good thing. Very close to many things to see.

Large, clean rooms and very friendly staff! NOT walkable to city center, but very conveniently close to light rail train which we took everyday. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Only con is tiny shower and bathroom, otherwise perfect!

We spent two nights here while visiting Munich. The hotel was without a doubt the quietest we have experienced in recent European travels. The room was newly renovated, spotless, and comfortable. The bathroom was extremely clean and the shower was large by comparison to the usual tiny Euro hotel showers. Got a low nightly rate on the Accor/Mercure website.

We were concerned about the distance from Old Town, but it is a quick (about 5 min) tram ride. Also, taxis are plentiful in Munich. We found it preferable to get a good night sleep away from the beer halls we visited.

Lastly, this hotel is ENTIRELY non-smoking!!!
