Oral directions to the parking are wrong. They say you need to enter a "pink building" (no number or any other guideline) at the right, while it is on the left after you clearly said where you are coming from (driving in from the other side is extremely unlikely due to a lot of one way streets). While you e-mailed certain (health) related problems a week earlier and they acknowledge receiving the e-mail after I complained, the staff couldn't/didn't do one thing to help. Then at breakfast, there is absolutely NO information on allergens (not even the name of what they serve in most of the buffet, let alone allergens), they make certain (they hope) 'trendy ready made' mixtures, making it unsuitable for a lot of people. The basic ingredients for their mixture are unavailable at the buffet. This hotel caters only to healthy customers. If you have any allergies/intolerances, DON'T book a breakfast - a waste of your money. In Privilege rooms there isn't even a fridge ... No choice of pillows etc. Hardly a Privilege room at all, so don't pay for the upgrade.…
A great hotel in a good location just outside the city. Easy to access on public transport and not too far to walk to the Olympic park. Room was nice and roomy and had everything we needed - especially good to have tea and coffee facilities. We were on the top floor so I thought it might be a little cramped with the sloped ceilings but we were absolutely fine! Would stay here again if I was to come to Munich again. …
Stayed at the hotel for one night, while on-route for final holiday destination. Rooms very nicely renovated, defintely worth more then 3-stars, however bathroom was really small and just at the level of acceptable. Good breakfast buffet, I especially liked the set-up of filling your bowls.…
If you are tired of the buzz and chaos of City Center, this could be your perfect choice. Hotel is located at good location with tram 20 and 21 running into the City Center (about 10 minutest ride) at intervals of every 5 minutes. It is in a safe neighbourhood with several small size supermarkets and decent restaurants in the vicinity. Room looks very modern and the decoration is good. You get all the basics covered. Enjoy the stay here. Good value for money.…
My mate and I stayed at the Mercure primarily because of its proximity to the Tollwood Festival. Truth be known, it really was convenient to eertything given access to the tram into town and to the U-Bahn. I was a little concerned with noise but this soon dissipated due to the excellent double glazing that blocked everything out. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable an the service really of a high standard. And the themed room decorations made it feel less like a hotel and more like a welcoming and homely place to stay. Highly recommend it.…
