Hotel New Orly is a great hotel. All the staff are extremely kind and super helpful.
We loved staying at hotel New Orly.
There is mayor construction at the front of the hotel, it is a bit loud but there is double glazing windows which helps alot. The construction starts at 7am and ends at 6pm.

There is a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning. The is also a big supermarket called Rewe just 100 meters behind the hotel. So don’t use google maps because it shows you a place called Lidl which is much further away and not as good as Rewe

Some rooms don’t have balcony’s but that is better because if you have one, the size of the balcony is reduced from your room, which would make your smallish room smaller.

There is a gym and sauna located downstairs.

The hotel is located in a good area and you can get a Taxi from the front desk. There is also a bar. An a built in restaurant, but it is very busy so you will struggle to find a seat if your a family

The TV connection is spotty not all channels work, there was no air con remote in our room, but it was -3 degrees so it wasn’t needed, the bathroom is extremely tiny but useable.

If you are traveling to Munich overseas we recommend you download the MAPS.ME app which lets you download the map and use the services without a WiFi connection which is very useful when finding restaurants/shops etc.

Housekeeping was not super good, they never gave us new sugar nor milk, we had to go to the shops and buy milk. They never put the pillows back on the couch in the morning, all they did was clean dishes, make bed, and give fresh towels, disappointing for a 4 star hotel. But this does not impact how great Hotel Orly is.

The minibar is extremely over priced, so we recommend you go buy stuff at the Rewe 100m away from the hotel.

Munich is extremely safe and nice, so don’t worry about walking at night alone.

Hotel New Orly is a absolutely amazing hotel!

Hotel New Orly = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a small bar and a little restaurant.
There is some parking available but not many spaces and a member of staff parks the cars in the tight spaces for you.Parking is 15 Euro per day at Hotel or 11 Euros on the street ( but not always many spaces).
We could walk to some great restaurants and the area felt very safe for a large city.
There was a small mini market and some coffee shops within 5 mins.
Getting into Munich was a 40 mins walk or 3.90 Euro pp on ubahn.
Ubers were about 13 /17 Euros.
We had some free water in the room on arrival.
Breakfast is available, but we didn't try.
For us, the only negative was the 3rd bed for our adult daughter, which was a sofa bed with a thin mattress topper, which was not that comfortable.

My second stay at this lovely hotel. This time brought the family with. We booked two double rooms which were perfect for us. The hotel ensured that the rooms were close together.

The reception staff were always friendly and helpful and housekeeping good.

Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed the fabulous food, coffee and fresh orange juice every morning.

The hotel is in a good location and in a safe area with excellent restaurants close by.

Would recommend for business and for holiday stays.

We had to cancel our stay at the hotel due to an earlier flight. The hotel refused to cancel the reservation even though we informed them in advance and they collected the payment in advance. Things happen in the aviation world because of the corona crisis, but the hotel is not interested, and they only informed us on the day we were supposed to arrive. Because the area is under construction and there will be noise during the stay, maybe if we had known in advance we would not have booked, by the way the hotel is in a residential neighborhood and very far from the center of Munich and requires a car

We visited Munich in August and stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. We were not satisfied due to the following reasons. Although we booked a family room for 4 people, the room was too narrow, because in fact it was a double room with a double bed added. So the remaining space was too limited.
Also there was no air conditioning. A small fan was completely insufficient to make us feel a little better since the temperature was often climbing at 32 degrees. Additionally there were no window sieves and many insects were entering the room day and night.

The available fridge was too small, was not working well and could hardly cool the water.

Finally, I would like to point out that during the entire 7 days that we stayed there, the sheets were not changed even once.

In conclusion, I can't even imagine how this hotel can be rated as a four-star hotel.

What a brilliant find - lovely hotel just two stops from the main central station (under 10 min walk to the U Bahn station and under 20 mins to S Bahn), but in a very quiet area, and much more residential. Plenty of cafes and interesting little shops nearby but has a relaxed feel about it.
The hotel itself was very clean and modern. We had a top floor room - light, airy and spacious, with a balcony (think maybe they all do). Friendly check in staff. Would definitely stay again.

Great value for money! I like staying here, AC in the rooms, not far from town centre, really good value, plus a great breakfast. The construction work is only happening during the week, so no issues if you are staying here at the weekend. The bathroom is a bit small, but everything works fine

we arrived 2 adults and 2 children,to a tiny room with two large beds pushed together, very hot summer in germany,no air con, just a small fan,and had to keep the large windows open all the time which mean we had wasps coming in and out of the room and not able to close curtains, beds were awful to sleep in,which is not ideal with a young baby, never ever again would we stay here, not only that the bathroom had a sliding glass door which kept getting stuck, horrible place

If you're looking for a lovely hotel in a quiet neighborhood You have found the right hotel. I came to visit my son at the university and loved this place. Close to trains, buses and trolley. The staff was reserved but helpful. Hotel was exceptionally clean. The buffet breakfast was GREAT. I would return in a heartbeat.

Really great hotel and the breakfast is superb. They even gave a fresh orange juicing machine and their products are well presented and fresh. I don't have any pictures but if you go on the trip advisor for the hotel and view the images, you will not be disappointed.
