We were arriving late into Munich, arriving by train and picking up a rental car from the train station the next morning. Hotel Luitpold was absolutely perfect, only a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel is nicely tucked into a building above a great looking coffee shop/bar. The room was beautifully decorated with local wooden furniture, and although simple,...

Close to the railway station and on a direct walking route into the main part of the city we were pleased with this hotel as our choice for our stay in Munich. The room was clean, en suite was small but very adequate. Breakfast was a cold spread of cereals, breads, cheese, meats and egg. Staff were friendly.

Relatively good location, but the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Noise from the streets all night, as it is close to the Hauptbahnhof, and there are many undesirable characters in the streets at night. You awake almost hourly to screams, shouting, arguing, whatever, then you get truck deliveries to the local shops. I stayed for 3 nights, each...

Location is perfect if you are coming from the hauptbahnhof, and means you are close to public transport. Breakfast is everything a Continental breakfast should be but almost never is- barvarian weekend style. And coffee was good for German standard. We arrived to unseasonably hot weather and felt quite hot in the room. It was fine with the window open...

Good location just outside the main train station and close to the pedestrian area but: there is no airconditioning and you must keep window open for air. Not possible to sleep due to street and construction noise. Only few quiet hours are from 3am to 6.40am. Also the bathroom is so small that the toilet is so near the wall...

Great location. Super close to subway/ train system as well as Marienplatz. Clean yet small rooms. Coming off a cruise ship we were used to the small rooms, however, I think this room (25) was smaller. I value an updated bathroom and clean quarters...this had both. Location was awesome! This is a simple hotel with no frills. Typical European breakfast...

The hotel is quite old, with an aged man serving you keys and answering you questions! He might act a bit slow but very attentive :) The hotel have lift so no worries about luggage. The room is ok, clean, bright with much sunlight and the refurbished washroom give the room an extra point ;) Not to mention the nice...

Hotel is in good location. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Take note of cancelation policy. Hotel management responded with delay both to myself and Booking.com on my request to cancel one night of my two night stay and I had to pay for the night. I cancelled 8 hours after deadline and one day in advance.

I booked this hotel for its location and also the room description. My mother has a wheel chair, I informed the hotel of this before I booked. The photograph of the rooms looked good and spacious as did the bathrooms. Our 2 rooms (44 & 45) where like rabbit hutches and not suitable for a wheel chair. Space was very...
