Stayed here for 2 nights with my sister in a twin room and can whole-heartedly recommend this really nice hotel. It's in a great central location- a 1 minute walk to Rotkreuzplatz whith its excellent transport links (metro, tram, bus), shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the decor is tasteful, the beds are comfy (able to separate the twin beds), the room was well equipped with plenty of lamps and sockets, flatscreen tv, wifi, windows (double glazed) that open, a mini kitchenette cleverly hidden in a cupboard equipped with fridge, microwave, sink, 2-plate hob & electric kettle- crockery, cutlery & utensils are available from reception on request. The compact bathroom housed a generously sized shower cubicle with an excellent strong shower. There's a comfortable & nicely furnished lounge area adjacent to the reception with tea & coffee making facilities and a computer for guests to use free of charge. The breakfast at 12 Euros per person is expensive for someone who only wants tea & toast or cornflakes but, having saId that, it's an extremely generous and varied buffet. I honestly cannot fault this hotel and hope to stay there again in the future.

We just stayed for a night and were very content with the parking possibility, the friendliness of the reception and the room itself. Although the window went out to the street it was very quiet. There were two things we did not like so much: 1. to come from the garage up to the reception you have to negotiate a fairly steep staircase, which is a bit of a challenge with suitcases. 2. We were looking forward to the breakfast which was praised by many visitors. However there was a Spanish travel group and they all took their breakfast at the same time, which was much to much for the breakfast room and the buffet. Perhaps it would make sense to open up an adjacent conference room for such groups to allow other guests to enjoy the breaktfast they have paid for.

munich has a bunch of good hotels but they are all so expensive!!!! well at least for me. i was lucky to find G hotel and got a good price for 3 nights stay.
the hotel is located about 200mts from the subway station Rotkreuzplatz wich is only 2 stops from central station. i walked to the nymphenburg castle and the neighborhood is quiet and nice.
The check in was quite fast and the boys at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The rom was spacious but I think they could fit a twin bed for comfort.
bathroom clean and good shower to.
the breakfast is great with great selection os breads, cold cuts, fruit etc
but if you are not used to big breakfast, there are plenty of coffee shop around.
also a mall and stores walking distance.

This was probably the worst stay i could have ever imagined. Now I know that German hotels are generally way off the mark in comparison to the US, UK etc but this was poor.

No Air Conditioning made it unbearable

Guys on reception were fine, the breakfast staff were too busy chatting to each other to even see they had missing items, such as fruit juice. She filled the orange but let the other.

Really poor

My partner and me stayed there for 3 nights this past weekend and I must say that I was highly impressed in all the aspects.

The check-in process was very fast and hassle free, the staff very attentive and helpful at all times. They were there when we needed them. Check out was as fast.

The room had a nice size and the kitchen facilities were great, nothing was missing. Even has a microwave, minibar and hot plates/rings. We pretty much enjoyed it because we could make our own coffee late at night when tired and not willing to go anywhere and stored our ham, cheese, yoghourts and "Griesse puddings" for those late snacks. There are 3 supermarkets within 2 blocks (Tegelmann? or something like that, Edeka and the one from Galerias Kaufhof) so you can get everything you need. There's also a typical restaurant in the corner and bakeries and similar places all around. Oh and there's a very nice ice cream & coffee shop, Sarcletti (you'll advise it from the Rotkreuzplatz corner anyway). Try the tartufo flavour!! :D

Back to the hotel description and the room (sorry, it's all very fresh so it's like a timeline), it was super clean. Had TV, radio; hair dryer, no problems with hot water, etc. Everything you can expect to work, it worked.
The bathroom was simple, clean and efficient; it was nice that the shower had doors, in the contrary to most "modern" hotels with open design where water splashes everywhere and the floor is a mess afterwards. A very simple yet very important thing to me.
The room wasn't noisy at all; didn't seem to be many guests in our part of the floor (the 2nd), and the only casual noise that could be heard was the tram as our room was facing the street, but it was very soft and short to be a problem.

We didn't use the gym; walking around Munich was enough work out for us :) The breakfast was really nice, it's buffet with a wide variety of cold cuts, breads, marmalades, boiled eggs, etc. We particularly enjoyed it, it was quite complete and tasty.

The location is excellent: the area is nice, quiet and local-looking; only 3 stops to Hauptbahnhof (U1) and the station is just around the corner.
You can also take the tram but takes about 15 minutes (or a bit more), anyway it's good idea if you want to see the surroundings. It's also a short trip to Nymphemburg castle from the hotel (tram 16 to Romanplatz then take the 17 to Amalienburg, just one stop).

The overall experience was very enjoyable, and it has a lot to do with the quality staying at this hotel and the closeness yet quietness from everywhere.

I have stayed here twice now and will again whenever I am in Munich. The hotel is situated just around the corner from Rotkreuzplatz, and 100m from the U1 subway line which will take you to the Munich Hauptbahnhof after 3 stops. At Rotkreuzplatz, there are quite a few cafes and restaurant. There is also a large department store at the platz.

I had a double room even though I paid for a single. The rooms here are almost like serviced apartments - exremely spacious and comes equipped with a small kitchen. There is no shortage of cabinet space if you happen to be lugging a lot of luggage. Everything was quite new, modern and importantly very clean. Two small bottles of sparkling water was provided free each day. The TV is a CRT with not many english channels. Probably the biggest down side was that my room faced the main street and thus there was a bit of road noise.

Unfortunately wireless internet connection though available, wasn't free. Breakfast was included and there was an excellent range of continental cheeses, cold meats, bread, cereals and even smoked salmon. There is also a modern gym on the ground floor.

In short - excellent room for you pay in a convenient location. Perfect if you've just lost your job and your wife has left you and taken the house.

Great little hotel, very clean, convenient for tram/ tube or walking to city centre.
Staff were nice.
Only down side is the lack of a bar just a small choice of drinks in fridge in foyer and a coffee machine serving tiny hot chocolates for €3:50.

This hotel is the typical example of why it is preferable to select a hotel further out from the center with good proximity to mass transit.
It is only 80m fro the tram stop and not even 150m from the U-Bahn station, which brings you in less than 20min in the heart of Marienplatz if you choose to go. It also very close to Nympenburg by one line of tram.
The neighborhood is good and relatively quiet.
It is not flashy but it has everything you require. The breakfast was good, continental type, at an affordable price and certainly better over any cafe outside. The room and bathroom was nice and comfortable and although on the first floor looking at the street we felt no noise disturbance.
The best point however was its staff. Special mention to Sadki (if I spelled his name correctly) who did everything to accommodate us and tip us over amenities and transportation possibilities. They even had at the reception day tickets for mass transit available.
It is addressed to businessmen and families alike.
I would certainly stay there again.

What a hidden gem in a lovely area of Munich!

We didn't arrive until quite late at night but the check-in desk was staffed by a very friendly man.

The room itself was clean and quite spacious for the price we paid. Even better was that minibar is included in the room price, making it an extremely good deal!

Looking forward to staying here again in future.

The hotel is situated in a lovely neighborhood and a few minutes walk away from a tube station. The staff is exceptional - friendly, humorous, witty and caring. The rooms are cute and has all that you would need including a hot plate. An excellent place to stay in. I look forward to staying there again if i am ever in the city again.
