Second visit in this hotel and still pretty happy with it. Good quality for the price, good wifi, very quiet, far above average breakfast quality and easy parking. On the minus side: Check out time is a bit too early, shades inefficient and room cleaning could be better.Recommended nevertheless.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here while we were in town visiting family. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice small patio out to the side of the house. The windows and door let in a lot of natural light and we were able to keep the window open as this villa is in a very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast area was simply beautiful, a cheery room lined with windows overlooking the yard. The breakfast choices were beautifully presented and bountiful. Probably the best of all our stays in other locations throughout Germany. We were fortunate to have a great parking spot right out front on the street however on certain days the streets are cleaned so cars must be moved by early morning. We only encountered this on one day and we simply parked on another street the night before.
Overall this was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it. The owners were delightful but were limited in their ability to speak English. But we are in their country so for us it was not an issue and we did the best we could.

Family run. With lovely rooms, garden and fab breakfast. Spacious room with quite idyllic garden outlook. Plenty of street parking in what appeared to be quite a nice suburb. 5 mins to trains. Residential so less access to restaurants but I'd imagine you'd be eating before returning anyway.

We stayed two nights here - lovely house with very nice garden. Breakfasts were excellent and host was informative and very pleasant. Our room was on the first floor (second to Americans) and had to lug suitcases up stairs. Room was very comfortable, very clean and up-to-date. Hotel is also located just off main S-bahn line. We visited Dachau and the city center and left city via bus. All very simple to get to - no changes of s-bahn. We had a challenge finding a restaurant close by that spoke English (can't read handwritten German) but ended up having picnic dinner from local grocery store in the garden. I stayed with my 16 yo daughter. Probably not the best for small children.

The Villa am Schlosspark is a very nice and cosy hotel just behind Schloss Nymphenburg that hosts the famous Porcelain Manufacture (http://www.nymphenburg.com/en/products/dinnerware). The family style hotel staff is very friendly and always helpful when it comes to special requests.
Prices are very reasonable and the location is great for runners as the Nymphenburg Park is great for a 5-20k run.
In winter there is a nice atmosphere on the Schloss lakes as the locals start playing "Eisstockschiessen" what is German style curling and you can even rent some "Eiststock stones" in a small kiosks beside the canal that leads to the Schloss.

This was our last stop before returning to Oz. What a delightful place and location to finish.
Room very well appointed with a great little terrace area into the garden space. Fritz was very helpful and professional. He organized our boarding passes on-line for air travel on our final day there. Now about the breakfasts ( we were there for two), everything there, not just an ordinary continental. there was freshly made scrambled and boiled eggs together with lovely smoked salmon and cold meats, cheeses, cereal, muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and beautiful breads.
I forgot to mention fresh croissants. Great way to finish our tour!

We stayed here at the end of our trip two week trip and needed a quite place to finish off the trip and Hotel Villa delivered. The rooms were clean and modern and did the job, but the highlights were the staff and the amazing breakfast! Breakfast is early for European standards (7:30-9:30) but it's worth getting up early. The staff helped us book a taxi in the morning as well as provided us with maps to help us navigate the city and business cards of restaurants for recommendations. The hotel is a four minute walk to the train that will take you all over Munich, including the Airport and Dachau. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was bright, airy, comfortable & clean. The breakfast was something I looked forward to each day (good quality and lots of choice) and to be able to eat outside in the sunshine was a real treat.
The owners were super friendly and helpful with any questions we asked.
The location is great for the Botanic Gardens and Nymphenburg Palace - you're within walking distance & having the train station 5 minutes away (if that) was a big bonus.
The Greek restaurant just around the corner is great.
I have nothing but praise for Villa am Schlosspark - I wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is a 7 minute walk from Obermenzing station ( S-Bahn line #2 final train destination Petershausen, about 12 minutes from the central station). The hotel is in a residential area and therefore quiet but easily reached from the city centre or airport. It is a comfortable hotel with a good breakfast and a very helpful owner who remains very unobtrusive. I spent a week here and valued the convenience of the location, the quietness and would recommend this hotel for anyone seeking some peace and to avoid the classic multinational chain hotels. There is also no-restriction on-street parking in the area. There are shops and supermarkets around the station area.

very clean, very friendly little hotel in Munich. Room and bathroom are small but functional and our service was very friendly and helpful.
Perfect breakfast were everything was fresh, nicely arranged and delicious. Fruits, cold cuts, cheese, cerials,... WLAN fast and free.
Only problem was the parking, from 7 the road has to be cleared and there was no hotel parking.
