Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good welcoming by reception staff but that’s it . The air conditioner had been shut off for winter making the room very stuffy. The bed was ok but the pillows are the worst I have ever put my head on. They gave one pillow per person so we asked for extra which didn’t change the lacking of stuffing inside the pillows which made for a very poor sleep experience. No English speaking entertainment tv channels which is very poor service. The taps in the bathroom are shocking , I could pee with a stronger flow. In summary Look 👀 Elsewhere. Regards Kevin

Really good hotel starting with great welcoming and helpful FOH member of staff, clean and comfortable room with crispy white bedlinen. Good breakfast. Check-out was quick and the nice lady on the reception desk gave me a jar of honey produced locally, which was a very nice treat. The hotel itself located in a very good location, a short walk from tram stop and train station. Certainly a lovely stay and will come back to stay in this hotel again for my next visit to Munich hopefully soon. PS: would be great if the room can have USB sockets for charging phone/tablets etc.

I stayed for a few nights when visiting Munich in May and it was a great location for sightseeing. It is a little bit out of the main centre, so not as busy, but it has a tram stop outside. This makes it easy to get in and out of the city centre with no problem. The hotel was large, clean and well decorated. The room was spacious and was perfect for a solo traveller. The reception area also has a bar area which was okay if you wanted a few drinks in the evening. There is also the hotel next door. Staff were friendly and the breakfast had a wide variety each morning. Would recommend.

Great stay with friends and family. The hotel is clean and newly furnished. Functional room with comfortable bed and shower. Good connections to the city centre. Special thanks to the staff, who have been really helpful with assisting an injured guest.

The hotel was located a short walk from the tram stop. The hotel room and common areas were clean and the room was a suitable size. The hotel staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good. The hotel lobby also had a nice bar where you could get drinks and snacks. I recommend.

I stayed for 15 nights. Excellent location with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Was easy to pop downtown on tram or train. Staff were very helpful and I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

A great deal has been learned about how COVID-19 spreads over the past year and a half. We now know that 60-70% of cases are spread in the home. Another 10-15% are spread in the workplace, and 10-15% more are spread in gatherings of friends or co-workers. Less than 1% of cases were contracted in hotels or restaurants. So it is bizarre to be confronted by the absurd spectacle of a maskless worker (at relatively high risk of passing the disease to his/her co-workers) requiring a guest (at minimal risk of transmitting or contracting the disease in the hotel) to put on a high-tech FFP-2 mask to enter the premises. I do understand that these are Bayern State rules and that all hotels are required to follow them, but at the very least, the staff should wear the same masks they are requiring their guests to wear, otherwise the patent absurdity of the policy is laid bare. Besides that, this is a newer Ibis with smaller than usual rooms and sub-par air conditioning. It is a solid 30-minute walk into town - something worth considering.

Lovely hepful staff, room is clean and nice, we've even been upgraded for the breakfast in the Novotel next to it. We highly recommended this hotel if you are looking for a great value for money well located not far from the city center of Munich.

A very good new hotel. Good breakfast. Friendly staff (Dilan). Causy rooms. Prices are fair. Recommended. The staff especially made the lodging very easy and comfortable. Less waiting times at the reception. At the heart of the city.

We were looking for a convenient hotel to visit various parts of town and we sure found one. Hotel has a parking garage, so we just left the car there for all five days and followed a suggestion of the young receptionist, who suggested to buy a public transportation multi-day pass for all four of us. The tram stop was just outside a few steps away and it took us everywhere where we wanted or needed to go. There was even the oldest brewery Augustiner Bier Garden within walking distance as an added bonus to our visit. Hotel has clean and efficient rooms, excellent breakfast and above all, very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay here again next time!
