We stopped over in Nuremberg on the way to Prague for one night. This hotel was really nice, the room was nice and clean, offered a pillow service, had a great breakfast with lots of choice. We arrived early and as our room was cleaned they gave us access to the room which was so nice. The staff were quick to...

be aware that this hotel is inside the old wall of Nürnberg. Means narrow streets and no parking. Parking will cost about 20€/day. public garage is opposite the hotel. But culture, shopping, eating and drinking just around the corner. The entrance of the hotel does not look very inviting. The building is not a new constrution But the rooms are spacious...

hotel is situated just off the main shoppping area and is a few minutes from the underground. The castle and old town are a short walk away. It is reasonably maintained and rooms are spacious and keen. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast reasonalby good. only downside is that the wifi could be slow at times

This little hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice. There is no air conditioning. The bathrooms have good water pressure. It comes with free wi fi but it is slow. The breakfast is included and is first rate with friendly staff. For all this quality, the price is reasonable. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, excellent breakfast selection, very nice owner. Excellent location, only spoilt by building site next door, where work starts at 7am during the week! Haggle for best price . Parking bit of an issue, expensive place over the road, but at least it's locked overnight. Rooms big and clean, good location, would go there again.

Stayed here for 4 days arrived at 7pm.Later 11pm on first night spoke with receptionist and got beer from bar, extra pillows and an iron. Would have had ironing board but couldn't carry it. Nothing seems too much trouble. Even offered to bring in brandy from home when none behind bar. So service is excellent and would stay and recommend...

This is a very convenient hotel in this wonderful city. We followed the Rick STEVES walking tour and it was very easy to do from this starting point. We saw wonderful architecture and sights. We were lucky and were given a suite, which was spacious and lovely. Breakfast was nice too.

Just stayed for a congress and knowing the hotel since years. Never change a winning team might not always be the best choice, especially for hotel installations from the 80's. At a trade show price of nearly 200 Euro hot water should be a must ... not this time and cold showers are not my cup of tea. The breakfast...

We are frequent travelers in southern Germany, Tirol, and much of northern Italy. Our favorite haunts are small gasthauses in the countryside. But on occasion, we like a day or two in historic cities. The challenge for us is finding that small gasthaus charm and service, in bigger cities. The Avenue Hotel delivers on charm and service from the perspective...

Nice Hotel! Good size room and very comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. I forgot my laptop power adaptor and reception was quick to help me and provided me with one. Great location! Very short walk to Christkindlesmarkt. Breakfast was very good and included in the room rate, which, by the way, was very reasonable. I most definitely recommend this...

“Like many hotels in Germany there are rooms where smoking is allowed. If you want a smoking free room check before booking or give the hotel a call. The staff is polite and speaks a reasonably good English. Quieter rooms are *USUALLY* on the north side.”
