This family-owned hotel is located on the edge of Passau’s pedestrian zone. That makes it easy to reach by car, yet located within easy walking distance of some of the city’s best restaurants and most famous sights. Off-street parking is available on the premises. The staff is friendly without being overly so. The staff is very helpful. The Weisser Hase... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the good location of this hotel and particularly like it's close proximity to the train station and cafes. We absolutely adored the 'hare' theme throughout the restaurant. Breakfast had a good selection and it was easy enough to get a table. A good start to our cycling trip.

I would have liked to rate this hotel higher because it was nice and clean and a great location however our room was very hot and it wasn't hot out. There is no air conditioning. The restaurant was also very warm and uncomfortable. The other downside is that for some reason the doors to the rooms are very loud when... More

Though supposed to be smoke free, the hotel allows smokers to stand just outside the lobby thus allowing the smoke into the lobby and then right up the open staircase and into the rooms. I asked the receptionist to close the lobby doors and she said it would inconvenience the smokers. The smoke also wafts up and into the windows... More

On a bike trip along the Danube, 6 of us stayed here 2 nights. The hotel was originally built in 1512 (!) but has been lovingly restored. Our room overlooked the square which was nice but a bit noisy at night. (Like most hotels in the region, there's no AC.) But we had a fan in the room which kept... More

A well kept and well run with comfortable rooms without being exceptional. Good in room wifi and a good breakfast. Avoid the rooms on the road side as the traffic noise on the cobbles is sleep disturbing and downgraded an otherwise good hotel experience.

We stayed there for one night with 11 friends and had a lovely time. The staff was exceptionally helpful in getting us to our bike and barge port. Convenient location and good value. Would definitely return!

This hotel was always my dream but unfortunately evaporated very quickly. Anyway I try to find the good everywhere. In this hotel was the bright side the blond lady behind the reception, who was very welcoming and smiled nicely. The rest of the people had no manners for a 4* hotel. I used to work in a 3* and the... More

Located at 'old town' edge of pedestrianised area with nice shops and cafes, a bit of a slog to the train and bus stations (actually only 650m) but close to the riverboat piers along the Danube, especially the start point for half-day trips. Turn the other way out of the lobby and you are already in the quaint, very quiet... More

The room in the hotel was great, with a very comfortable bed, big Tv and a desk with a very good space for stuff. The location of the hotel is perfect for all the geast because it is in the downtown of the city. Great staff who are always ready to help. Fantastic food which fit royalty.
