The L'Ostello Alstadthotel is both a short walk from the train station and a shorter walk to the center of the altstadt. But it's value is in the friendly and helpful staff. We arrived at 8:00 a.m. after a less than restful night train from Venice. We had expected just to be able to leave our bags, but the receptionist... More

Lovely hotel in a great location to walk around the old town. Small, and very nicely decorated. The AC is noisy, but earplugs are provided. The reception and the breakfast the next day was very nice as well. ONLY draw back is that there is no on site parking, though the hotel has reserved spots in a nearby parking garage.

This is a delightful hotel in Regensburg old town. It was a small hotel convenient for site seeing in the old town. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and very modern and clean. Breakfast was served in a lovely breakfast room and the selection was excellent. If you stay at the weekend it might be... More

Really enjoyed our stay. Asked for a gluten free breakfast be provided and WoW, they did a great job, even packing a light lunch with the left-overs. Great room, it had its own very large annex. This was especially appreciated as we needed to re-pack the ever bulging suitcases at this point. Room was very comfortable with a really good... More

One thing I love about Europe is that they repurpose buildings instead of knocking them down and building new ones like we do there in the US. This hotel is very small (6 rooms) in an old building that has been beautifully and lovingly restored and yet has kept all of its old world charm. There are two rooms on... More

We found this B&B from this forum and we were not disappointed. It was a great facility and well located for our needs. The staff was very informative and could not do enough for us. It was also my wife's birthday and when they found out, Raffaela had some surprises that were above and beyond what we had anticipated. We... More

We stayed here two nights and could not have been happier with our choice of accommodation. The hotel is conveniently located in the old town, an easy 10 minute walk (maximum) from the train station. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We received a warm welcome from the young lady on reception and she was very helpful and kind throughout... More

I stayed for four nights in this great bed and breakfast. It is very well situated near the train station and center of Regensburg. Breakfasts were large and delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Very good WiFi available for a limited but adequate time each day. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August. We were greeted by a lovely lady called Carolyn. Our room was on the first floor at the rear of the hotel, the room was lovely, it was very clean, the bed was very, very comfortable. The shower was lovely and the toilet was separate - bonus. There was even... More

Beautiful room on top floor (#5) with lovely bathroom and ample space for luggage. Low ceiling beams were fine for us but taller folks might bang their heads. Lovely breakfast. Helpful staff. Short, enjoyable walk to old town. Wifi was sporadic in our room and we had to rely on our portable unit (which was only a stop-gap). Parking is... More
