This is a quirky place. There is no lobby, no staff. There's a small sign on the building. You call a number when you arrive and run across the street to the coffee shop( same family owns) to get a key. No checkin , no registration or payment . Room is furnished with antiques and Art Deco design. Extras like hairdryer...

If you are looking for a special experience, Hotel Luxe is for you. As you enter this small hotel, the decor throws you back to the early 1900s, from the stairways, to the carpet, to the wallpaper, to the furniture in the room (which is from the period). The rooms are a bit tired but that only adds to the...

I stayed here for a short business trip - always looking out for the small boutique hotels besides the big chains I tried Hotel Lux. Check in procedure was very convenient, I went into the restaurant La Strada which is directly opposite of the street (usually quiet, just minor traffic, every Wednesday morning there's a farmer's market) and the staff...

I could not say how much I love this hotel. It's at the center of stadtamhof, and it's hidden from the main road. It's quiet and the style is very decent. Dont even mention the lovely helpful lady Mrs Seidl. For those who are looking for unique hotels, this is a MUST GO.

We had a lovely three days in this delightful hotel over the New Year period. It is a small hotel with only six rooms, each of them with its own individual character. It was run at the time we were there by a single lady who seems to do the cleaning, the cooking, and the reception work. She was extremely...

We were two couples on a bicycle trip along the Danube. The hotel is interesting in it's own way but was certainly quiet and close to the cycle route. They provided covered bike storage over night. There were many outdoor patios on the street to choose from for dinner and it was within walking distance from the old stone bridge...

Hotel Lux is a bit out of the ordinary but in the best of ways. Key pick-up is just a few metres down the street from the actual hotel which is located on the first floor of a house not far from Regensburg's emblematic "Steinerne Brücke". I loved our room's decoration and the bathroom. Breakfast was served in a bistro...

We tried to stay at that Hotel... after the first attempt to make a reservatio via phone, the receptionist did not get the email address right ( needless to say that I have a very typical Bavarian name), so we never recieved a booking receipt. I called back the next day and was advised, to sent an email myself, so...

I keep returning to this little hotel. The location is great. Across the old stone bridge to the old town in a quiet area. Still a lot of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. The client gets the description as where to pick up the key. No front desk at all. The breakfast is great in the passage of...

Loved this neat, character filled little hotel. Reasonably priced, great breakfast spread included and in a quiet, but equally pretty part of town across the stone bridge from the centre. Beds were a little creaky and I didn't read the original reservation confirmation stating that I needed to pick up the key from Cafe La Strada down the street. It's...
