Small quaint wooden guesthouse located inside the town walls. Public car park immediately opposite, outside the walls accessed through an opening in the wall. Room and bathroom small but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast good. Narrow communal balcony with tables and chairs at first floor level along the front of the house. Quiet at night. Hermann the host English speaking, friendly and... More

Worth the search using GPS since the b&b is inside the "Old Town Walls" but next time I'd drive straight to the parking lot outside the wall, maybe 200ft from the b&b. Gerlinger sells a discounted parking pass since you can't park inside the wall anyway. Parking is at lat/long - 49.3803 / 10.1801 or address Bezoldweg 23 and there... More

We were delighted to find this cozy gasthaus on a quiet sidestreet. Susan was so pleasant when she helped us with our reservation. Once we arrived, our host Herman was so very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and coffee were superb! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. We will be staying here on our return visits to Rothenburg.

Our family of 3 stayed here for 10 days during our visit to beautiful Rothenburg. We felt welcomed and comfortable at this beautiful Gastehaus. It looks recently renovated but still holds the charm and look of an old German home. My husband was feeling a bit sick and spoke to Herr Hermann who explained that it may be the pollen... More

We always stay here when we visit Rothenburg. It sits within the walls but away from the crowds and bustle and just steps away from a parking lot. Each room is lovely as well as the breakfast room and food. We always ask for the apartment. There is a nice community balcony. Very clean and up to date. You can... More

We had a wonderful 2D 2N stay at Gastehaus Familie Gerlinger last October 2015. We only made reservations via email and was not required to pay downpayment. The gastehaus is a cozy cottage located near the middle of the town and is as beautiful as it looks on the photos. Since Rothenburg OdT is a small town, everything is just... More

This is the 4th time that we have stayed at Gastehaus Familie Gerlinger. We will probably stay here again next time we are in Rothenburg. Susan is always friendly and helpful. As always, room was nice and clean. Free Wifi and an ample breakfast in a nice breakfast room. No complaints. Parking nearby. This pension is just inside the city... More

Cozy, comfortable, friendly. Very close to all the action in town. It is inside the walls of the city and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, city sites. Great bathroom, awesome shower pressure!!! Comfortable beds. Would come again!

We stayed here for 3 days recently and were bowled over by this lovely house. It dates back to the 16th century and still has original wooden ceilings, but travellers can enjoy all the comforts of modern life. The hosts are very welcoming, the room we had - with lovely balcony- was very cosy and the breakfasts were excellent. The... More

We had a great two night stay here. Very charming inn in a building several hundred years old. Completely renovated bathroom with new fixtures. Old beams still in the bedroom ceilings which are very low. Might bother a tall person, but we loved the charm. Good breakfast each morning with nice variety of choices. Free parking very nearby along the... More
