Stayed here 3 nights a week or so ago. Great location being only a couple of minutes walk from train station and old town. Staff was lovely and friendly (I believe this is a small, family owned and ran operation). Room itself was large but very dated and oddly designed, there was carpeted sections in the bathroom... Had the usual... More

This is a lovely hotel near the "old town" of Rothenberg. Very convenient walk with good parking. Exceptionally clean rooms that are roomy by European standards. Nice, modern bathroom, safe and wifi. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Staff friendly. Would really like to have given them a 5 star except our room was SO hot it was difficult to sleep.... More

Stayed here on our third and fourth nights of a 3-day cycling tour of the Romantic Road organised by Vélotours as the local agent for Freedom Treks UK. The hotel website describes it ad being located in a "quirky" neighbourhood; maybe the word doesn't translate quite the same from German, but being right on a main route to the motorway,... More

We was travelling by car and drove on the romantische strasse. Rothenburg ob der Tauger is on this road so we stopped here for a one night stay. This hotel has a simple standard but it works as it is. Breakfast is not the best, but it alright for the money.

It is an economical, confortable and familiar hotel, with internet and breakfast included. Nice back yard to drink a glass if wine or smoke a cigar. Hotel is over main street 10 minutes walking from main attractions in Rothenburg.

Great location and really easy to find. Parking was fantastic. Hotel staff were amazing and so helpful gave us great direction to town and where to see and what is worth it. Breakfast was great and the drinks in the restaurant the night before were just what was needed!

This hotel is a little bit far away from the wall and town center, but it is very close to the main train station so fantastic if you are coming via train. Fantastic rooms, very clean and large. Modern bathrooms and the bed was very comfy. Minibar is available, and the prices were what you would expect for a minibar.... More

We enjoyed it very much. The location, the room, the restaurant, the breakfast. The room was in a high modern standard. We will absolutely come back when in Rothenburg. The bathroom was newly renovated and top modern. Friendly staff

Because of our itinerary we stayed here for just one night. Place is nice, comfortable and clean, just a bit outdated but is not that of big deal when all you want is a place to sleep and rest. Another advantage this hotel offers is it is just a short walk to the old city so you can get there... More

When visiting Rothenburg you need to make compromises unless on a splash out holiday. Due to the high tourist attractiveness of the place, prices are high. The hotel itself is about 5 minutes walk from the town gates. It has free parking, a great bar area and is well located for the town on foot. The value of the hotel... More
