Superb affordable accommodations within a short walk of the medieval wall and city. The room included a double bed, sitting area with couch and comfortable chairs, and an eating area with table and chairs. Immaculately clean room and bathroom. Breakfast selection was substantial. Our hostess loaned us a guidebook and map to the old quarter. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

First the negatives. This is a smokers' house. However much the owners try, there is a lingering smell of tobacco. Furnishings take one back to the 1970s - but the bed was very comfortable. The room we had (the only one with its own shower) was in the dormer - and very awkward for anyone of even average height. You...

Four adults stayed at this home the middle of September. My wife and I have stayed here three times and have found Karin to be an excellent hostess. We arrived much earlier than expected while she was still cleaning up from previous guests. That did not rattle her at all. She welcomed us with free bottled water and beer. We...

Karin is very nice and sincere to us when we stay in Rothenburg. She prepared Chinese map with detailed routes which help us save lots of time. Her house is very clean. We are lucky to live in the biggest room because we book it quite early. And, as all people say, the breakfast is really rich. We have a...

Frau Karin Weiß (and her husband Hans) are gracious and wonderful hosts who made us feel so welcome! She has a very lovely home situated very close to Rothenburg (a beautiful 3 minute stroll thru a park with apple and pear trees), in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood. She sets out a magnificent Royal Breakfast and we very much enjoyed chatting...

Hans & Karin's Guesthouse deserves all the positive reviews. It's comfortable and pleasant, with a beautiful garden, and the landlords make you really feel at home. What adds to the family affair is the big, shared breakfast table - a good opportunity to meet people from around the world. If you are after a romantic retreat, that might not be...

Karin was very friendly and helpful, great location five minutes walk to Rothenburg ob der tauber. Free parking was also helpful, the breakfast was very German and tasted great and leftovers were offered to eat on the road. Thanks for a great stay.

This is a very well-run, clean, and friendly B and B. Easy walking distance to the town of Rothenburg, with lots of good advice from Karin. She puts on a remarkable spread for breakfast, very attentive and generous, and seems to have boundless energy. Many thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

I really wish I had known that this was a smoker's house. NONE of the reviews mention this. If you are sensitive to smoke you will notice it. We arrived here after a red-eye flight from the US and I was starting to feel under the weather so the smell of smoke didn't help my throat. I could tell from...

We drove to Karin's in a rental vehicle and they had a free parking for us. Also allowed us to check in early with great tips for the city. The room and attached bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. The best part was the breakfast, extremely good with lots of options. Karin herself is also very friendly and helpful.
