I stayed here for two nights recently. The rooms were a bit dark (lack of lighting) for my tastes but overall a great stay. The restaurant is good although once the owner left the service seemed to disappear and the bartender gave the very strong impression that he did not want to be there let alone do his job. The...

This is a great hotel in a beautiful medieval. Stayed here in early October and the staff was friendly with a great breakfast. Our room overlooking the street had plenty of space and was surprisingly quiet considering it being near the street. The only concern we had was the small glassed in shower that was part of the tub..very difficult...

My family stayed here for one night in October 2013 while travelling through Germany. A German friend of ours told us that we must spend at least one day in Rothenburg while in Germany, and we are glad we did. The city is beautiful, especially with all the leaves turning color. We enjoyed the shopping and sightseeing a lot, but...

The hotel has everything you might want in Rothenburg: a great mix of old architecture and modern facilities, beautifully put together. The staff were friendly and efficient, the restaurant was also very good, as long as you like traditional German fare. We had a room right at the top of the hotel, which was worth the climb as it was...

We didn't stay in the hotel but had a most delicious and affordable meal. The staff were friendly and made you feel like a regular. If you get the chance, stop by and have a great meal. Sorry, dinner only. No critique of the hotel which by the way looked fabulous.

Hotel Klosterstueble was a perfect location in the walls of the old city. It gives you a feel of the history. The receptionist was most helpful. She showed us our choices of rooms and helped us choose. She even carried a suitcase up a few flights of stairs! It was great to be in a historic hotel. We strolled around...

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Klosterstueble although the hotel is a bit quirky. We waited for quite a while for someone to show up at reception to check in. But once we were checked in the hotel was wonderful. It was very relaxing. We had a traditional room that was very comfortable. The bed was quite firm. The...

We stayed 2 nights in this delightful town, and what made it even better was staying at Hotel Klosterstueble. Our room was spacious and finished in a rustic style, which made for a great place to come back to after our many walks around the town. We rested well here both nights. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I...

My husband and I spent two nights in Hotel Klostersteuble in May 2006 (sorry for the late review!) while traveling through Bavaria. I remember it like yesterday. The hotel is beautifully appointed, clean, and inviting. Our room had an annex to it with bunk beds and a table -- perfectly suitable for a family of 4. The location is perfect...

An ideal place to explore Rothenburg .The hotel is comfortable, with very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast is also excellent . The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff helped us in parking our car on more than one occasion as parking can be a problem in the town. There is a nice lounge bar in the hotel itself, with...
