Clean rooms. Nice service. Can pay to het a parkingplace, you will need it.. Great view from the hotelroom. A bit worn hotel but not too worn. Breakfest was ok, we were missing the vegetables... Otherwise, a good hotel.
Perfectly located on the opposite side of the river to the Marienberg Fortress, the views of the Fortress are magnificent. The Main Bridge is short walk away, and most other attractions are a little further, but all within walking distance; flat but with cobblestones. If you're dragging a suitcase behind you, you might just lose the wheels. The hotel serves a sumptuous breakfast in its very nice dining room for an extra 12 euro. They have old but efficient lift, which is a luxury in these quaint old boutique hotels. I definitely recommend staying in this hotel. …
A very nice restaurant with a good selection of local German dishes and wines and a wonderful view of the castle up on the hill. The serving staff is very friendly and attentive and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere.
We booked a room last minute but got a great room with a view of the river. The beds were a little too soft for my taste but the service was friendly. Nice and clean. There is a restaurant at the hotel but we didn't try it.
Extra clean, friendly stuff, beautiful view of the river and castle and an unbelievable breakfast. Convenient location, very good wi-fi. They also have an excellent restaurant for traditional German food.
"Ask for a river-side room if you can. The fortress lit up at night above the river and vineyards is beautiful!"Read full review
