We stayed at these apartments for 3 nights, great location with multiple options for transport, supermarket near by (go to Rewie not Lidl), fantastic pizza down the road. The apartment has everything you need to make yourself comfortable and cosy little home away from home.

If you look for original places, here you are! Smartloft is an original place to stay...very far from hotel rooms. We were at the superloft apt (around 130m), with 2 bedrooms and a large living and dining rooms. The kitchen was almost completely equipped. Staff at reception was friendly and efficient. The place is close to major attractions and price...

Great appartments, minimalistic, all necessities are there! Good service, clean apartments. Was there twice for business purposes. Good Wifi. One small disadvantage is the limited opening hours of the reception, though this is a minor detail.. Will be back for a third time!

Good location, walked to all the sights from the hotel, the room was great. The check-in was easy. We could walk across the road to a cute little bar, it had good food and service. from this hotel it was a 30 min walk to the centre of the city and all the major attractions.

After reading the reviews we booked an apartment for a week during the summer. The neighbourhood is nice, potentially a great location, if the apartment building did not have a large construction site next door, producing noise and dust from 7 am every day except for Sunday. They advertise as having free WiFi. Well, it's not free as you pay...

The Apartment is spacey and well designed. Clean, comfortable and friendly. From the terrace spreads magnificent view of Berlin. Close to communication and all city amenities. An excellent choice for grips if friends.

Great place - very hip design. Everything we need without breaking the bank. Only wish would've been the opportunity for a bit of privacy between the two rooms (kids and us)...but big and open. Really Berlin!

Stayed in the extra large apartment (130m2). Really cool apartment with a fullyequipt kitchen, but very strange solution to have only a curtain beetween the bathroom and the kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff. 6-7 minutes walk to the underground. Some few restaurants nearby. Recommends "Oh-Angie" in Schonhauser allee (approx 5 minutes walk) Really nice restaurant with great food! A large,...

I stayed in the Medium Sky for three nights. The staff were so lovely and helpful with everything I needed. The apartment itself was incredible. Kitchen, lounge room with sofa bed, huge widescreen computer (fully equipped with movies) and speakers. There was a bathtub and the shower water pressure was amazing. Bed was comfortable and I loved the electric windows...

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
