The hotel, in an old building near Kurfürstendamm is in a very convenient location, as the metro is close and in the area there are many restaurants. The rooms are really nice, but can get very hot and noisy at night. Breakfast is fine, but at peaktime you risk to be queing to get a sit at the table. People...

We stayed in a 4 bed room, it was very clean, mended every morning. Wi-fi worked well. The hotel is conveniently located within 5 minutes of train/metro and tram stations. Breakfast (included) is alright, eating area is limited.

Stayed here when seeing Iron Maiden in the city. Good price at €133 for my wife and I and 9yo for 2 nights B&B in a triple room. Train from Schonefeld airport was cheap and clean. Take it to Zoological Garten. Then a 5 min walk to Wilhelm II church and up the Rankestrabe street to number 3 (halfway up...

This hotel is very near the Kurfurstendamm, the S-bahn and U-bahn (Kurfurstendamm and Zoologischer Garten). Before you get to the lobby of the hotel, you need to walk a lot of stairs. There is an elevator from the 1st floor. The hotel is on the 4th floor and the rooms are 1 floor up, and you need to walk up...

A short family trip to berlin. This hotel suprised us by the location between al the restaurants. Great old feeling. Nice people running the hotel. Small but good hotel for a few days trip. Breakfast was good. Our room was quite small for 2 people.

The only good impression is good location - nearby Ku'damm. I was in this hotel some years ago and it was quite OK, that's why I came back and stayed there from April 14th till April 18th, 2016. A big disapointment! First, I sent two e-mails before arrival and I got no reply. The hotel is in upper floors of...

Excellent Location, very close to the city center and to the access for city tour busses. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide range of choices. Quality/price relationship was good. The staff was ver y friendly and kind.

Located just steps from the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and from major public transit lines (commuter train, subway, city bus) it is easy to explore Berlin and to find your way back. We knew we'd be out exploring all day and had looked for a low cost place with a decent breakfast where we could rest our heads at night....

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
