Great location, friendly , helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms very clean and quiet. More Hanging space for clothes would be nice....a minor problem! Can only recommend it for ease of access to all amenities be it shopping, sightseeing etc as all are within easy reach.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my girlfriend in mid November. The hotel itself is clean and very modern while the rooms are a fair size for what you'd expect given the price. The beds are comfortable however the WI-FI in our room on the 6th floor was unless and kept cutting out, perhaps ask when booking...

Dear guest, Thank you very much indeed for taking the time rating us well. We were glad having you and your girlfriend here during your vacation. How great, that we could convince you with our modern and clean rooms as well as our awesome and close location to main attractions in Berlin. On the other side we are very sorry...

H2 is a modern hotel conveniently located near Alexanderplatz from where a lot of sights are reachable by foot or tram/U-Bahn/S-Bahn/bus. We visited a large number of Christmas markets nearby and in different parts of Berlin and found it very easy to get around. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and let us enjoy both an early check-in...

So glad and satisfied we chose the hotel. Staff so welcoming and offer any service and suggestions regarding your stay. Breakfast was more than expected. I suggest travellers to go to this hotel. Being central and close to the centre of Alexander Platz helps a lot, especially this time of year, being surrounded by Christmas Markets.

Nice modern hotel very well situated to train station, Christmas market and restaurants. Breakfast plentiful and tasty. Immaculately clean, like most places we found in Berlin. Can get trams or buses right outside but we mostly walked as all sights we went to were within walking distance. Don't miss the mulled wine!

A simple hotel – not a type I would normally go to, but nevertheless it fulfils its function very nicely. Most of the guests there seem to be youth groups. It is located about 5 minutes' walk from the Alexanderplatz Station. It has eight floors served by three lifts. The rooms are small, with minimum cupboard and drawer space, but...

This is a basic, clean and good value hotel. Close to transport links (trams, Airport Express and 100/200 bus) and next to Hofbrau Munchen if you like beer. The rooms are modern, bed comfortable and NOT hobbit size. Not huge but perfectly adequate. Pillows are very soft and I had to fold mine in half but a minor problem. Must...

Just back from a trip to Berlin when we stayed at the H2. The hotel is well situated in Alexanderplatz and the staff are very pleasant. The rooms however bring a new meaning to basic. They are hobbit sized, no tea or coffee making facilities, you have to walk sideways to get past the beds and over to the window,...

Starting with the good, its very well located next to a station and some of the sightseeing spots are also nice and close such as the Brandenburg Gate. Breakfast was always well stocked with plenty to chose from depending which country you were from. Staff were very helpful and the ability to hire bikes right from the hotel was also...

The room was very basic but very clean. Fabulous shower with heated floor in the bathroom. There is a cafeteria type restaurant that offers value for money 24 hours a day. We ate lunch here several times as their buffet style lunch was value for money. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Alexanderplatz train station.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
