We booked the one room suite which is located at the old wing. Very spacious. High ceiling. Small kitchen with cooking facilities and utensils etc. with toaster, coffee machine etc

Frontdesk was very helpful. The lady there was very friendly and gave us the room early. She also explained in details of the facilities etc and helped us resolve a technical problem afterwards. Pity i did not take down her name.

Right next to U bahn. Good restaurants and shopping around.

Bed and pillows comfy. Clean and strong air con!

Only small complaint would be the wall mounted hairdryer which made it tiring when you have to stand there all the time to use

This hotel is In the center of Berlin, a few steps to the famous Kursfürstendamm with a lot of shops, restaurants and bars. Regardless of if you come by train, air or by car, this is a good choice. The subway station “Kurfürstendamm” is round the corner and the hotel has its own small garage (23 Euro per day, I think you can book it in advance) or there is a huge garage on the opposite side, where you can park your car, less expensive (keep in mind, you have to pay with cash, no credit card).

The hotel is a historic and protected former school building. It it a very spacious hotel, with very nice clean room (equipped with all the amenities, you need). The beds are perfect and the breakfast is very good (I don´t think you will be disappointed). One thing I like it is that the breakfast area is spacious and well organized, and this is both.

The combination of very nice and service minded personnel and the quality of the hotel, your vacation will perfect.

We (son, husband and I) stayed for 6 nights i a Deluxe Double room with extra bed. The extra bed had a proper mattress, which was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.
Cleaning kept forgetting there was 3 of us, so we had to ask for a third towel several times.
They didn't change the sheets for the first 4 nights, and probably wouldn't have changed it during the last few days. We then had to ask for fresh sheets, at our son spilled water in the double bed. We changed the bedding ourselves.

Breakfast was plentiful and good and they keep filling up during breakfast time (7.00 to 10.30).

Staff in reception and at breakfast were friendly and efficient.

We will definately stay here again (but ask them to remeber towels and make at change of bedsheets, when staying for 6 days or more)

Booked a suite and on arrival was advised that due to a "system mix up" there was no suite but a better room would be offered. Willing to take a chance we went to the allocated room which was a junior suite with kitchenette in the front of the old building. The room was awful and unsafe, the kitchenette was basic with a few sticky items of cutlery / crockery. The fridge door would not close properly and one of the lights was blown. The large room had a small double bed, a power point came off the wall exposing wires and another light in the bathroom was blown. To top it off the A/C did not work and rattled and we were expecting 30'c the following day. Obviously we complained the room was unacceptable, after some furious computer tapping and uncertain mutterings a room was found, it miraculously was the exact suite we booked and paid for ! some comment about taking the allocation from someone else was made ? I don't like being made a fool of and I could not work out what was the reason for the room mix up. COVID-19 challenges aside we asked if the hotel was busy and was advised 80% full ?? we doubt this figure as we hardly saw other guests apart from one or two checking in or out. The suite was as we expected, comfortable and spacious, cleaning was done daily but the standard was not up to expectations and could have been better. Ate breakfast just once at 19 euro each it was expensive and bland, across the road we found a bagel café with amazing breakfast so would recommend this. Overall H10 Berlin was a let down and disappointment with very indifferent staff. I would not recommend or use again.

Terrible customer service. In an effort to get out of Europe before all flights were suspended, I changed my flight home to a week early, notified the hotel a full 5 days before the booking and they refused to even provide a partial refund for a room that I couldn't possibly use since I've already left the continent. Zero compassion or reasonableness. My $25 walking tour was more understanding then this so called 4 star hotel.

Great location, a spacious lobby and that is where it ends!

Staff is pleasant but appears rushing in wrinkled uniforms and 3% fees on foreign debit card payments do not ensure a warm welcome.

Cramped rooms with beat up furniture and non-existent noise cancellation from hallway noise as well as maids in hotel hallways at 6:30 a.m. make sure you are up on time. If you are not an early riser do not count on staying in bed for too long.

It is too bad this hotel is next to the Sofitel and asks almost the same price because it has a long way to catch up.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry your stay was not good. I take note of your comment on the uniforms and furniture. We are currently working on improving them. Regarding the housekeeping noise, I would like to inform you that they start work at 08.45 or 09.00, not before. I also want to confirm you that we do not charge any commission for paying with credit cards. If you have been charged a fee, you should please contact your bank. I am very sorry for these inconveniences. Best regards, Josep M Bonet Hotel Manager

I stayed at H10 Berlin for 4 nights this past week. I would rate it between very good and excellent. It is upscale in certain ways with very nice lotions in the bathroom, a coffee machine and coffee pods and tea kettle with tea in the room, there was a rain shower etc. but the room was a little small and not that well organized. For e.g, you needed to move the coffee machine and tea kettle somewhere where there was a plug to use it and the use of the closet required moving the doors back and forth between the two small sides.

However, the staff tried very hard to always be helpful. There is a small fitness room (open 24 hours) and a coed sauna that is open in the evenings. Bring a bathing suit if modest. I did have a wonderful massage there but book ahead if you would like a certain time. I did not eat there so can not comment on the food.

The hotel is located in great location: just next door to the U9 and U1 station. Also near many restaurants as it is in center city.

We've just stayed here for hubby's birthday weekend. A lovely welcome. We had a slight problem with our room shortly after arrival, but we were immediately offered another room as soon as we mentioned the problem (a tap not working.) The reception staff were excellent throughout our stay. We were very happy to come in on his birthday and be offered complimentary cocktails, then when we went back to our room we found a complimentary bottle of fizz and some glasses.
The hotel is right next to a U station, on the U9 line. It is also just a short walk from the Zoological Park Station which is on the direct RE line from Berlin Airport. There are lots of local buses close by too. The 100 bus takes you to Alexanderplatz via Museum Island and the Reichstag. For those of you who remember C & A, there is one a few yards from the hotel! There are plenty of places to eat nearby from bakers and biegels to bar food and restaurants.
The hotel is clean and comfy. We both slept amazingly well. Toiletries in the bathroom are a good enough quality that when we go back I won't bother packing my own. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom too. There was a small coffee machine in the room as well as a kettle and supply of tea. There is a fridge with a small mini bar and a price list that didn't leave you gasping in shock.
We've stayed in Berlin a few times, and when we are next there we will definitely come back and stay at the H10 again. Thank you H10 for a lovely welcoming stay. See you again soon!

I was in Berlin on business and had a very pleasant stay here. What I really liked was the breakfast buffet and the courtesy of the staff. There was no selection of vegan dishes, it was served when requested and there was always a double selection of fresh spreads and salads for the next few days. I have never experienced such a service.

I was recommended the SPA and massage service at the front desk, which was indescribably great. Mrs. Voigt's professionalism and empathy is indescribably great. I was expecting a small petting and massage session and was instead given medical care all over the body by a professional and certified physiotherapist. My tensions and knots were all gone and I feel like a new person.

When I travel to Berlin, I always try to book a room at H10, mainly because of the massage experience, just to book the massage and then to relax in the wonderful room.

We have started numerous times at this hotel and not only we had to wait 45 min to check in, upon ...finally reaching the desk, we were told by an abrupt most rude Spanish speaking receptionist that we will have to wait as check in us at 3pm. Beside, he pointed at me with his finger ans made the arrival process horrendous . That employee’s attitude is an absolute disgrace to the hospitality industry ans certainly kiss instantly loyalty built over time . That receptionist not only was incredibly rude but I almost punched him as he went far too far with his nasty and rude behaviour . In fact the next receptionist that came did confirm ( how ludicrous ) that he has had numerous behavioural issues with guests. Of course, we requested at around 4pm to see the manager who chose instead to convey the message to us that she is in a meeting and that she can see us next day at 11am. Another disgrace and abominable unprofessional attitude . Those individuals should be reprimanded if not dismissed as they are a threat to the reputation of H10 K’dam.
Needless to mention that we have had a call or a mail of the so called “manager”.
In post COVID time, all resources should be allocated to keeping guests respected and loyal .
Last, despite having stayed many times , again and again , we are asked to fill up all documents and show passports . A lot of urgent improvement is needed.

Hi! There is an adequate number of outlets in the rooms, but you have to carry your US adaptors. The hotel probably has a few to give you. I haven't seen any usb ports in the rooms, but we had our own cables. They might have some in other types of rooms thought! Have a great time in Berlin! The location of the hotel is fantastic, convenient and very safe.

Easiest way is by taxi. Should cost about 35€ depending on traffic. Or you can take the 109 bus to the Zoologischer Garten station and walk from there. It’s a 10 min walk.

Buses and trains very efficient! Bus X9 goes to the zoological gardens which is very close to the Kurfürstendamm. The welcome ticket gives you unlimited travel (check the zones) on buses trains and and also discount with various museums and activities. You can pick up a welcome ticket at the airport also (check times. We got there late evening and places were shut ) or at the train stations. Our hotel also sold them! Happy travelling!
